This victorian sewing item was hung from a ladies chatelaine and has a lovely open scrolling vine motif. The top is marked sterling .The body or cushion is in lovely condition and has a yellow or mustard color silk thread over a heavier linen type material. The cushion is in perfect condition with the exception of some loss of the silk threads. These items don't usually survive due to usage and material but this was an expensive sewing item and was most likely made in France.Looks like a letter D is also visible.Pin cushion measures 1" wide by 2" long.
