Bon jour, comment ca va?

Okay those expecting earth shattering news, put your feet up it will not shake the world.

But if you like the French language or are of French origin or a native speaker of French from any country, please visit and join this public social group whose initial reason for being is to share French. But it can also be a way go meet people too! If you are still shaky on French you can cheat and use google. No one will question you.

So I love French speaking even if only chat style. new social group for French

Au revoir!

Merci beaucoup. mon premier cours était à l'âge de 8 ans

I had daily classes. Much rote material, yet, it's like riding a bike. I may struggle, as I'm quite out of practice, I'm semi immersed in Spanish, at the moment and I'm crossing words and expressions.

There was an extension class, through a local college, when I was little. I learned about French history, in context to caves, cavemen, etc.

It will be great to maintain this side of myself. I took french all through high school. In the 8th grade, when I moved to Massachusetts, I was forced into Spanish because my french was too advanced for my classmates at the time. Tried a semester in college, but withdrew, it was Parisian french and I couldn't keep up.
Thanks for this!

Salut! Je suis en train d'apprendre le francais, et vraiment, je l'adore! Merci pour creer ce... err... truc ici

I'm working on my French! I studied it in school, for years, but that was sadly a very long time ago... I've been using Duolingo to refresh, but need to start actually trying to communicate a bit (ooh the scariness!)

Thanks for setting this up!

I had to stop studying French last year, so I think it'd be really fun for me to get back into it! I'll definitely think about this.

Thanks to Moth fly. Would love you to be part of the group. It does not meet at this time so it is more like a daily posting and reading others posts at this point.

Good idea!

What would be the most Frenchie things to do that you can do anywhere in the world?

I'm asking you this question 'cuz you sounds French, and let me say, it sounds lovely. French pronunciation and the spelling. This youtube lady once told me that forget about the spelling!

o the language, why does it have to be so hard to learn? very good to c u posting this thread.

(And just saying, I'd like to know how French speaking folks swear.

What else do I like? No one's asking, I know, I just love the sound, even the English in French accent! I used to watch this cooking program on BBC, his love for food and the beautiful preparation. mmm )
