I had a 67 blue Mustang. It was awesome to drive. It was a present from my parents.

a '93 Toyota Camry...in 2010. Drove okay, but I spent almost as much keeping it running as a car note, so I bought one. No ac in south Louisiana, had to unhook the battery every stop because the brake lights wouldn't turn off. Gift from my dad. lol

I had a 1970's Corolla. Gears on the column. Very dark green. It was like a tank to drive. Now that was a car made of metal.
Thanks for this!

Oooooooh, I'm jealous!

First car I drove was my folks' second car. It was a Rambler with push buttons for the gears.

After that all the cars I "owned" until I got married had my father's name on the title. Parents told me that was for insurance reasons.

After I got married my husband's name was on the title of various cars we owned, even if I was making the payments on the dang thing. When I was in my 40's and got a new (to me) truck I told hubby that if I was going to make the parents I wanted my name on the title. It was a 90 something Toyota T100.

1976 Dodge Dart, stick shift. Good beginner car for a young adult. Didn't accelerate well but reliable.

Hellllllo everyone. I don't own a car right now but I love motor vehicle

Probably you know this, it was a Toyota Tercel, it came in white with black unpainted bumpers, and it had automatic gears. And she liked to consume a lot of engine oils, but I loved her dearly.

Y'know, the memory of the first car is probably different than most of yours, the legal age for driving here is 20yo, so no highschool kids over here drives a car. I was a uni student, they did chemistry and engineering and stuff so, it had so little girls there, I remember giving a ride to a stranger(pretty girl) once though, 'cos I loved the car and I was driving around whenever I had free time.

And a little confession here. I ran over a cat once, I was flooring it, the cat was running across road and, I couldn't ease the pedal, I thought the chance of me killing/injuring the cat was slim to none. ...I'm really sorry, may the cat RIP.

Jap car sucks btw, too plasticky!

Edit: Of course it came with no air! and you know what? I prefer winding down the window. I don't like automatic anything. But AC is a must, i have to say... Model A? ****in A, I'm jealous too.

1986.5 Toyota Supra. It was really well kept and I got it for a song at the time back in like 2001. It had the sport package too so it had a limited slip differential and adjustable suspension. It was a really nice car... way better than the piece of junk brand new Mazda 6 I replaced it with.

1965 mopar Chrysler

At first I was disappointed because of its looks, llooonngg, BIG, faded paint job. But it was a great car, lots of power to plow though snow drifts, easy on curves, and fast! I put everyone in the dust. Shhh don't tell mom, but there were a few races.

A Fiat Uno. I used to call it a junk ship, I was sad to see it go after 4 years due to rust! I was kind of fond of it in the end. I have a Mazda at the moment.

My first car was a cherished beige-and-white '71 VW Bus. I loved that car with all my heart. It was a BLAST to drive, such fun! When my kids were little we had great times driving around in the Bus. I owned it for twelve years, finally passed it along to a friend who fixed it all up (it had started having more troubles than I could afford to fix). I still have dreams of driving my Bus

My first car was a 1977 Buick Century 4 door. It looked a lot like this one:
Your first car.

It had a 350 CID engine in it with planed heads and dual exhaust. Not a hot rod, but quick for a family car. Compared to cars today, it was like driving a yacht and the steering was sloppy, but I drove it everywhere.
