I tend to go on long rants here lately, but I'll keep this one short. Just an update for anyone who cares. Not short as I meant, but shorter than usual.

Nothing's changed, really. I tried to make what I need done a lot simpler, by getting my boyfriend to just help me clean and create a new area for my dresser and computer desk (which we haven't gotten yet). He has been ill for the past few days, but seemed to be getting better, but yesterday said he was coughing and fevered again. I'm going to suggest he see a doctor, but couldn't last night, because he went straight to bed after work, which has happened a lot lately.

I was going to have him do a couple of small things to get started; basically, lift and move one box that I can't lift, even if I could touch it. So, nothing's done yet.

We are still flea infested, and I scratch my legs madly in bed, because the blanket irritates the bites. I also use Cortizone 10. We also have flies, and a number of spiders. How does someone with OCD who needs everything to be clean get in this situation?

I really have more to complain about, but I'll spare you. Just one more thing, which is, I'm trying to lose weight. Not doing as well as I'd like, but I have been resisting dessert most days.

Well, the you-know-what is hitting the proverbial fan. We got a notice about trash in our yard saying we have 5 days to clean it up (but the notice was dated the 27th, although we just got it yesterday... I'm thinking my boyfriend meant Saturday and he just didn't get the mail until yesterday). Plus, there's a certified letter waiting for him, probably a confirmation that we got the notice.

I'm worried about my cats. My boyfriend says if the law steps in, he'll call animal control to come get them! That is a high-kill shelter! I was going to make direct calls to farmers once we got the outside cleaned up. I might contact Alley Cat Allies again if we end up in an emergency situation like that. I don't want them put to sleep!
