I have gotten some great advice here over the past several months as a dad trying to help a son dealing with depression and anxiety. Today I came across a site that has a great collection of white and background noises. You can control many aspects of these sound designs that change their characteristics. They have many sounds, rain, coastlines, farm sounds, cafe sounds railroad sounds and a lot of others.

I've seen comments on the site from people struggling with emotional issues saying it helped them. So, just passing it along.

Thanks for this, PG. It's a subject that interests me. I am feeling too tired today to look at it, so I have bookmarked it in my "Mental Health" folder.

I hope that I'll remember to look at it when I have more energy and when it's cool enough to turn off my VERY NOISY air conditioning unit.

"Custom" sound experiences interest me. I downloaded an app called "Brain Wave", but I haven't used it yet because it requires earphones, and I can't seem to find a pair.

Wonder if there's a sound profile to help me not to misplace my stuff?
