On the U.S. Thanksgiving holiday, I want to take a moment to share with you what I'm thankful for today. Perhaps you can do the same if you'd like...

I am thankful for being able to breathe in and breathe out without difficulty or serious disease. That I wake up in the morning, pull my legs over the bed, and can walk. That I have a place I can sleep at night, and never go to bed hungry.

That I've been able to share my passion for mental health and psychology in a way that I hope has done a small part in some people's lives to help them in their own life's journey or recovery.

But none of this would matter without the people in my life... my family and friends, and all the people here who've made the choice to be a part of our little online community. I am grateful and thankful for you joining us in your journey.

So thank you. And I wish you a peaceful Thanksgiving today.

Best,
DocJohn

I'm thankful for the housing program here in USA. Without it I won't have a place to live.
I'm thankful for SS that allows me to have a life.
I'm grateful I am no longer homeless.
I'm thankful that my family has welcomed me back into their lives.
I'm grateful to Doc John and the PC community for helping me accept this illness and become aware that it doesn't mean cutting myself off from others.

I'm grateful for the many many inventors and scientists in life that made modern science, electricity and computers possible.

In my country we don't celebrate Thanksgiving, but I'm thankful for some things too.
For my health,
for my family who loves me,
for some very good friends in real life,
for my PC friends, that really improve my life, because I can talk with them about cheerful things and also share the bad moments, and I'm supported and can support,
for my faith, that is really important for me,
for my house and all the things that I have,
for the opportunity to study and follow my dreams (hope not to waste this opportunity),
for living in a country where there is peace (hope that this lasts forever).
These are the principal things
I'm thankful for you all

I am thankful for my two young daughters and all of the love that they've brought into my life; my job that's taught me that while I'm disabled I do still play an important role in some people's everyday lives; PC has been here for me in many different ways. It has played an important role in my life, in accepting where I am now. Thank you.

I must be honest here. I am thankful that today is almost over and I can go to bed soon and get a break from the depression and low mood I've been in all day.
