My mom was a feminist. No barbies, no easy bake oven, no baby dolls, no make up. Instead I got mechano (which I loved), lego, toy tools. But my favourite will always be a Large size GI Joe action figure (space suite with space capsule). I always wanted tho a Six Million Dollar man with "kungfu" action and telescopic eye. Oh and when I played at friends' houses I loved their easy bake ovens.

Hard to decide... I liked my Polly Pocket collection, but I don't know if it was my favorite. I wasn't a very girly girl.

My favorite I think was the blocks. My dad was a construction worker for awhile when I was very little. He always had oddly shaped blocks of wood that he brought home for me and my sister to play with. We made some huge towers, then we'd pull out a peice on the bottom to watch them crash down. Or we'd build a city, pretend we were giants, and attack it. HAHAHA!

Or maybe my favorite toy was the plastic bat and broomsticks we'd pretend to swordfight with. "For Narnia!"
Thanks for this!

I had this great little doll house with plastic furniture. I loved it! I also used to like to make little cities outside and drive little cars around the imaginary streets. Then my record player. Every now and then my mom would surprise me with a new record
Thanks for this!

Marla, from the little doll houses with matching furniture and the little cars you used to play with, I'm thinking that we would've made great playmates! Providing you didn't make me wear any "doll clothes!" lol! Thanks for sharing those memories!

Yezeena! I'm thinking that I could lift some of those lego pieces! . Hmm..I may have to break out the blue prints and start a building project soon! (haha).

Barbies

A toy construction set that came with plastic beams and girders, and wall, window, and roof panels that you could snap on to build buildings. Much more realistic than lego.
