!. The joy on his face when our 25 year old son got his Christmas gift and the hour of music that followed. We got him the guitar he has wanted after three years of saving.
2. The smell of homemade pizza filling the house and the time spent with hubby making the two pizza pies.
3. The one dry day that we've had in weeks. The rain returns tonight so it was nice to have a dry day even if it was cloudy and cold.
4. We warm heated throw that helps keeps my bones warm during a SLE flare. The bone ache and cold feeling gets so intense it feels so nice to have the warmth.
5. My puppy Larry who enjoyed his long walk today with his human brother since I can never take him too far with the walker I use. Larry enjoyed his mile long walk today.
Thanks for this!

I am grateful that my wife, after all I have put her through, has remained by my side through all of this. Any lesser woman would have walked away quite some time ago.

1) Impromptu Window Shopping, tonight*gasp* with the boys(my sons) turned into a photographic wishlist texted off to their father, as well as, not just a gift for their father, but also their not being able to stand it if we didn't buy something for 'her' daughter.

2)That they confirmed my feelings that earlier at that same store, there was nothing they wanted under that tree, per se. The mentioned pictures were the 'get some other ideas to work with.' Well that was my idea on photos, their father was at a loss with Niño.

3)My height. Muchacho has been having blanket issues. He knew where and how much what he specifically wanted. My height. Because I needed to push clothes to each side on the bar to get myself closer to tip toe and use my fingers to connect with the box just so to tip it down and grab it myself.

4) learning that Muchachos field trip was a lesson on Concussion Awareness.

5) The look on Niños face to realize that I did, indeed buy the ornament he kept trying to show me. I mean it was already in the bag of purchases when he started for my attention. I was one step ahead, a charitable contribution it was.

1. My husband and the kids. Even though they are adults now they will always be my step babies.

2. My primary care doctor who helped calm me down on Monday after my kidney doc delivered some unexpected news.

3. My parents and their health. After a tough year health wise they seem to be doing much better the past few weeks or so.

4. Our puppy who gets bigger each day and gets into such mischief that he always makes me smile.

5. Love. That I love my family so very much and for the love that they all give back.
