I had a very Merry Christmas. I didn't ask for anything for Christmas but I got some cool gifts. I'll share one...I got a signed copy of Bill Nye the Science Guy's new book. My parents got the very last signed copy. They asked three associates about it and they all said it was sold out, but then a very helpful associate stepped in and went out of his way to find the very last one. Bill Nye is one of my idols, so I was ecstatic to receive it and I can't wait to read his book.

For those who remember my post about the blanket I crocheted for my parents...they LOVED it! My mom said my stitching was very well done and I told her that Mamma showed me how to tuck in the loose strings and she said that is harder than crocheting itself! They were both very happy with it.

And we woke up early enough so I didn't have to feel rushed to go to work! That's a bonus!

I hope you all have a very merry Christmas!
Thanks for this!

Hi there. Glad you got the Bill Nye the Science Guy book! Good present.

Want to continue the celebration? December 25 is Party Time at PC, 3pm-5PM EST!

This is not your ordinary party. We will have emoticon, cake, drinks, and pizza. What more could you ask for. BYOF - bring your own food unless you like emoticons. They are kind of dry to me! LOL

So whatever you are not planning to do, how about penciling in the party at Psych Central on December 25th at 3PM - 5PM EST? Private message me for more info. Look for the room marked Christmas party in the Chatroom.

Hope to see you there at the party in the chat room.

That's a great gift! Your parents love you! Among other nice things I got a beautifully framed picture of my granddaughter-that made me feel loved!

My husband has that book as an audiobook. It's great to hear him read it.

Glad you had a Merry Christmas and I hope everybody else did too!

My husband got me a graphic novel (and will be getting me the illistrated Harry Potter novel) and stocking stuffers. That was sweet. We are also getting much needed bedding from my parents and a table from my sister.

Bill Nye...very cool.

I had a good Christmas also. I don't really celebrate much anymore, but it's a magical time for me all the same. My birthday and my sister's birthdays are in December, each within days of Christmas, and then there's the turning of the New Year and the possibilities that entails. And, of course, the holiday I do celebrate now: Yule/Solstice.

I'm glad you got such a thoughtful gift and had great Christmas.

We aren't celebrating until tomorrow. We are going to my daughter's for dinner and going to a Beatle museum exhibit in th morning. My husband is a big Beatle fan and my daughter thought it would be fun to take him to see the exhibit. We should have a good day.
