Don't underestimate the importance of drinking water. Sometimes I think that is all that is wrong with me. I just drank some water and feel so much better. (Plain water seems to work much better than coffee and sugary beverages.)

Yes, x123! Every organ in your body needs water. Headaches, stomachaches, and other ills can be caused by dehydration. And you are right that plain water is best. It also helps with keeping things moving out...

I have been drinking nothing but water the past few days with the exception of a few black coffees, I feel pretty good. Sometimes I put a squirt of lemon in. I plan on continuing like this and only having sodas, etc on special occasions

I only drink water. And wine on occasions and holiday gatherings. And that's it. I've completely rooted out coffee, tea, soft-drinks and all other types of alcohol from my everyday life.
Thanks for this!

I worked construction last summer in very hot weather. I froze up 64 oz plastic jugs of H2O that I'd pull out (from a cooler) as needed during the day. They melted at just the right rate to provide ice water...all day.

My father used to do that with plastic milk jugs. He had a small construction business that involved a lot of digging of trenches outside in the summer.

The winter heating probably dries people out too.
I notice I wake up at night feeling dry mouth and a headache. For some reason it is hard for me psychologically to drink water. I feel better after I make myself drink water, but it is a struggle each time.

I agree.
My hands had started shaking and it took a while for me to discover I was dehydrated...it's much better now.

I used to struggle to down even one glass, but I have since discovered that if I use a straw, then it goes down faster and more often.
Lemon helps so I just slice some up and keep them in the freezer

I try to drink as much water as I can. I am always backed up now, due to all of the opiates, that I have to take. Now I take pills for that now as well. You just can`t win.

Can you drink prune juice? It is the very best natural laxitive. Apple juice is good too, or apple sauce. Water is vital to keep all of your organs operating properly, but fruits have fiber and nutrients that your body needs also.

I have never tried prune juice. Might just have to see if my wife can pick up a bottle. Thank you.
