Does anyone know any apps for making friends? Like,tinder but platonic. I loathe the idea of tinder but I must admit the idea of using apps to find make friends does kind of intrigue me. I'd really like to make some new friends and part of me feels like I just need a new outlet. If I didn't have such an ego,I probably would try to join tinder just to try and make friends off of it,since I know some people use it to just try and make friends only. I used to get more people using facebook to hang out but people seem to use facebook a little less often. I love technology and apps. I find them so fun. I'm googling apps right now to see what I can find and see if anything cool comes up.

Meetup is a good app for that. You search for activities or interests in your area and join groups to attend certain events together.

Yeah,i used meetup a bunch already. I want something new. I'm tempted to join tinder because everyone else seems to be on it but i'm not going to do that. I hate this feeling.On one hand,i want to do what everyone else is doing and open up opportunities for myself,on the other hand,i want to keep my standards and not become jaded.

Lol yeah,i gave up on that goal.I even joined two dating apps for less then 5 minutes last night and deleted then got depressed. I will just have to stick to meeting people the old-fashioned way and let connections come to me authentically. Apparently,according to an article I read, apps for making friends will never be something that takes off. It's too bad. I guess people are more obsessed with finding dates then friends.
