I shall offer my Hubs 2 choices for dinner.
Ham or chicken?

He needs to know that mashed potatoes and veggies of his choice / Salad being an option, are the side dishes.

No Bread

If you choose Ham, you WILL be responsible for stopping to purchase pineapple or go without.

The details on the chicken are that they are Marinated Soy Sauce based chicken thighs. You know the ones. You marinated them.

What would you do????

(just for laughs)
I still vote for being able to do @Baseline or @Moogieotter so they are alerted of this post. with option to choose whether you want notification or not and power to block.
just saying

I'm not looking to derail your thread but I feel guilty for eating a pig. I don't feel any guilt for eating a chicken. My choice would be chicken
Ham or Chcken? but details are imporatnt

Ham or Chcken? but details are imporatnt

That being said, I have no qualms eating either chicken or ham.

Seeing as how 2 of the 4 categories are about pork...I'd say it's king. It's more versatile than chicken....chops, ham slab, ribs, bacon, pork sausage

but...fried chicken (done right) has no equal.

I went with the marinated chicken. A few days later pineapple arrived so we cooked the ham. We had it that day, the next day (ham and eggs), then the day after that (ham salad sandwiches).

Off to bring Ma her leftovers. I hope she likes ham.

and yes, Bacon rules. and I agree that when done right fried chicken can be awesome.

I love ham salad. Ground ham, green peppers, sweet pickle relish, mayo, a little black pepper, and a small amount of finely chopped onion. Yeah...

Mah flipped me out a bit today.
I have a long term aversion to pickles. We were discussing ham salad. Which led to relish, which led to tartar sauce. HeeHee NEendr heyah

well would have chosen chicken EXCEPT soy sauce YUCK! SO that left ham WITHOUT pineapples double yuck well unless the pineapple is chilled and served for dessert that would be yummy.

If you can't tell I'm very very picky and I pity the person who cooks for me because I'm so picky.
