I bought an apple iPhone. I feel like such a blind sheep. I knew absolutely nothing about iPhones only that people boast about it with their arrogance and mock people who use androids.
God...I don't want to be one of those people. My choices were either an iPhone or a go-phone. I told the ATT guy that I was done with the android. I'll skip the details of buying it, but I will say that even though I really don't like/want smartphones...it's almost a necessity these days, and for many reasons I went with the iPhone. So...what now? Like I do with all electronic devices...I'm gonna personalize the hell out of it! First off. HOW DO YOU MAKE THE FISHY MOVE WITHOUT ME TOUCHING IT!?!?!?!?!? This is absolutely vital. I LOVE betta fish and when I was looking at the demo phones I saw betta fishies swimming around and OHMYGODINEEDTHAT. However, I set it to the fishy and it only moves if I poke it....no. just no. Fishy should move on its own. It must entrance me and entertain me with its fishiness. That overexcited bubbliness aside... Calling all people with iPhone users! ...What do you do with yours? How is your phone set up? What features do you use? What apps do you have? Do you like your iPhone? Is there a way to get free personalized ringtones? |

Ohhh I would have been in the same position if I saw the betta!
I've had iphones and androids and honestly I love my apple products! You can personalize them with different background colours and photos, cases and what not. Only advice would be get a case and screen protector ASAP!! I dropped my last one and it fried the motherboard.. ![]() ![]() |

When reluctantly getting my iPhone I noticed that none of my friends who love iPhone and had several makes, don't know anything about their phones. I just went through my phone and turned off a lot of stuff and adapted it as well as I could to my own needs.
They have done nothing in that direction, just use them with default settings. Like I told one you know I can actually see when you have read the iMessage I sent you? They were like HUH? And I explained how to turn that off, and that is just the very basics. I'm very sure you went through all this stuff though. But it is weird still I actually use what ios offers a lot more than they do. I wonder if a lot of iPhone users just want to be seen with the right brand, they don't actually need what they got. I'm getting all confused over that attitude. That said there are a lot of things about my phone that are still a mystery for me. And I didn't chose the phone, it chose me. I'd love to know more tricks about this weird piece of technology. Something that bugs me is that I can only "shop" from the app store in my region. But to do anything else needs jailbreaking and I'm simply not good enough to do that. |

I've found that uploading and editing photos is a superb contrast to the samsung galaxy s5 (my previous phone).
On the samsung, I would have to upload the photos to facebook, download it to my computer, delete the photos, and then not have a great source for editing them. The problem I am having now is that I liked the keyboard on the samsung better. On the samsung, I would hold down a letter and it would produce a special character or number. Is there a way I can do this on my iphone? |

![]() ![]() ![]() Here are a few things I've made directly via iPhone apps. One was made with Photo Editor by Aviary and the collage was made with Pic Collage. |
