My gratitude list of 5 for today:

1. I'm starting a new journal today and am going to get creative. I didn't like
November's journal and ripped it up. Today is a fresh start.
2. Where I live the dawn sky this time of year is a spectacular color show.
3. The weather is fine and later today I am going to go shoot hoops. I feel okay
with no bodily aches, pains, or strains. I have a great basketball.
4. No one in my immediate or extended family is in crisis, ill, or dying.
5. My sleep is restored (night time only, no more day sleeping) and I have enough
energy to do the day without naps, I think. I hope!
Wow. That was a bit difficult, but I did it. Now it's your turn, guys!

Today-or this far into today-I am thankful that:
1) I am no longer ill.
2) I've thought of the cover-art for my storybook
3) It is pleasantly quiet
4) I've thought of more for my other storybook
5) I've nothing better to do with my time than think up stories.
Thanks for this!

Grateful for at least 5 things:

I am well, I was misdiagnosed with COPD, found out I don't have it, yay!

I am going to see my brother and his wife tomorrow for a nice dinner and chat, yay! I have a car, although an old one, it still runs and takes me where I need to go, yay!

I have 3 healthy pet kids, my 2 birdies Danny and Bailee are well and doing fine, and my Suzy girl is doing well, too, yay!

The weather is nice for the next few days, makes for easy traveling for the holiday, yay!

I have a roof over my head, I have a low rent payment thanks to housing subsidy, yay!

1. My spouse who's always there for me.

2. Our pooch who keeps me out walking even when I don't want to.

3. My bread baking skills which I learned at the, now-defunct, National Baking Center. They resulted in me making a great loaf of yeast-raised banana bread today!

4. Our fireplace which provides both warmth & ambiance.

5. PsychCentral which gives me a place to go when I'm not walking out pooch or baking bread!

1. My husband, who has always been there for me, especially during the 10 days I just spent in inpatient.
2. My little sister, who is stepping up and trying to help hold me up, as I have done for her, for her entire life.
3. My friends, though the number is few, they are my family.
4. My ability to write, which I've been slowly getting back into.
5. My IOP group, for helping me try to find a new kind of normal, and for the other members who shows me I'm not alone...

No drinking alcohol on Thanksgiving means not being tired on Black Friday

Black Friday sales - but plan not to go overboard

In good physical health

Stopped snowing

Woke up without having an immediate panic attack, and day can start peacefully...
