Getting my fourth tattoo this Friday.
I can't wait to see what my tattoo artist did with my ideas. I have the whole day booked with him because I don't like to heal the same tattoo more than once. I would rather sit all day than have to go back a second time. My ship took about 6 hours so I am expecting this one to take about the same amount of time.

I just started my 9th tattoo last Saturday. Unfortunately, I do have to do 2 sittings to finish it. I find getting a tattoo to be therapeutic.

This question may have already been posed.... I'm just wondering what kind of state of mood you all were in when you got your tattoos. Were you manic perhaps? This one on my back I was most definitely manic when I made the decision. I have a large chest piece too but it was obtained in a more reactionary angry mood. |

I just talked with my artist today about my third, which I'm hoping to get done this summer. I emailed him some inspo pics when I got home and he said that he'll have a preliminary sketch for me within a couple of weeks! I love that he only does custom work because then I know that unless someone copies mine exactly, it'll be 100% my own and unique in every way.

I have only one tat and it is my late fiancee's name with wings. It is small and on the back of my neck. I got it done the week after he passed 23 years ago.

Inside of my left wrist: red heart with baby feet and my miscarriage date under it Outside of my right wrist: Breathe in a pretty font Inside of my right ring finger: semicolon I have several I want. I just have to save the money for them. My husband hates tattoos on women, especially visible ones, but he seems to have gotten used to mine.

I have about 15 now I believe ones a half sleeve that goes onto my back so that is counted as one. Tattoos are great memories. Even if I outgrow or ever dislike one I have gotten years ago I will never regret it because I can always remember back to that time, remember getting it and why. They are my personal photo album to my past.

My new one is in that itchy, scabby stage but its getting down to the end already.
