One Of The Best Nights Of My Life

Last night seeing 12 Stones was totally awesome. Seeing them was one of the best nights in my life. Ok the two 2000 NLCS games at Busch Stadium was a bit better lol. But that was because of Todd and the rest of the Mets beat the Cardinals.I got to Pop's about 4:15 pm. Doors where at 7 PM.But Pop's some times lets folks stay in there till 6PM. But if bands do Soundcheck before 6PM. They usally make folks leave.I went in there to use the bathroom and buy tickets for the Format show in September. Wanted to buy them before i forgot all about it.When i was on my way out. I saw Paul at the Merch booth. So i stopped to say hi to him.He knew me right away and called me by my first name.I was stunned at first.Because i have not seen 12 Stones since April 2003.But damn Paul has a good memory. I told him i'd see him later in a few hours. Was heading out to get something to eat.He said i was welcome to come back in as soon as i wanted. So i went to the gas station near Pop's and ate 2 hot dogs and some water.Sat down and ate my food and walked back over to Pop's.A few minutes after i got back over there. 12 Stones started doing their Sound Check. So i just sat by the bar area and watched. Then about 30 minutes after Sound Check i meet 2 other fans. A women and her daughter showed up about 5 PM. So we started talking and not long after that Paul showed back up again. So we got our pictures taken with him.The girls mother had issues trying to figure out the digital camera.So Paul was cool enough to help her figure out how to take a picture with that camera. Then Paul went somewhere and showed up back again with his head shaven military style cut. Bought merch and sat back down at a table. Then i noticed Aaron over by the Merch Booth. So all 3 of us went over and talked to Aaron. Then when i said hi to Aaron your Shannon correct.I was like yes Aaron that's me.Then we took pictures with him. Then i sat down. Then about 6:30 i rememberd i have not given security my ticket yet.Usally at that time i'm sitting outside. But they let me stay there and told some others.That doors were not open for another half hour.The show started around 8 PM. Rx Romeo was the first band to play. I have heard them once before a few months ago.Then Slowfall played. Then around 9:20 PM 12 Stones took the stage and it was awesome. My favorite part of the show was when they played Shadows. When the show was over i got to finally talk to Eric and i told him the best part of the concert was when they played Shadows and he said that's my favorite song to and then he gave me a high five and a hug. Had him and Paul sign a picture from August 2002. When 12 Stones opend for Creed. They said they looked so young in that picture.I stilll think those guys look the same as they did 4 years ago.Aaron gave me a drum stick so i had to of course get it signed. I meet the 2 new guys Justin and DJ. But i felt more shy around them. Both Aaron and Paul told me they'd be back in a few months with Breaking Benjamin. Ryan who works at Pop's later told me the same thing.I used a disposable camera.So i won't get my pictures back till some time next week.I am going to do a over haul soon of my profile on My Space and my 12 Stones site.
