This is the last week my 12 year old goes to summer school. then I have two weeks to suffer constant arguments Summer Vacation - (kids) between him and the obnoxious 14 year old while I try to sleep. Summer Vacation - (kids) I work nights. Then the obnoxious one goes to camp for a week...YIPPEE!!!!

Mine has only just returned to school after a 3 week break! (Our school system is completely different to the US and UK's).

Yeah they have that at some of the schools here in Florida...... they go to school all year round - with 3 months in school and 3 weeks vacation, then repeat.

We have 4 terms a year of about 3 months each but the holidays (vacation time) varies. The longest break for our kids is from 1st week in December to mid January. I'm never in working mode then anyway so its kinda nice having my son home.
