For many this is a very ananomous site & giving their name even first name could mess that up. My name is in my signature. I actually found a friend on here from way back in college in the early 1970's. We both discovered each other at the same time. It was rather cool. His first name was actually part of his user name a& we had both been music majors at the same junior college. So even with being ananomous, it's still possible to figure out but many won't risk

My first name is a longer version of Anna that no one can pronounce. It was a combination of my grandmother and grandfather's names. Everyone besides my immediate family has called me Anna since I was 16. I'm planning on legally changing it because it annoys me so much when people mispronounce my full name in 10 different ways.

I also want to change my last name to Simpson in honor of The Simpsons.

I'd really like too, I'm so tempted, but I like my anonymity & paranoia keeps pushing back.

Amanda or Mandy I answer to both but usually only really close friends and family call me mandy.

Sorry...........had to be done. I was listening to this at age 35 when it was released. I should have known then that I had some issues that needed to be addressed.

It's not a common name ( not where I live now at least) so I won't say for anonymity reason. I just got married and changing my last name to something extremely common. So combination of my ethnic first name and common American last name sounds pretty bad lol but oh well
