Wizard101 is a family oriented MMORPG where you play as a young wizard student in the Ravenwood School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. It's basically a Harry Potter meets World of Warcraft type of game, where you go around questing, getting stronger, and equipping various gear you can either buy with in game currency, premium currency (bought with actual money) or get from defeating enemies in the game.

I would like to play with someone, as its more fun that way. So, anyone else play it?

Here is the link to their official website. https://www.wizard101.com/

I used to play it before I got into World of Warcraft. I wonder if I can remember my login. It was definitely a nice way to pass the time. The best part about it is it's good for most ages, so if you have kids you can get them into it, too.

The only thing that frustrated me was that after a while, it got hard to continue playing without spending real money. Is it still like that? Or has that changed?

I know I spent quite a bit of real money on the game for mounts and pets and whatnot. You do have to pay for either a butt load of crowns to buy new areas, or a membership to play after you reach a certain level (level 10, I think).

Yup! That's exactly what I remember, and why I stopped playing. Though, since I've since started paying for WoW, I don't see why I couldn't pay for it, either. :P

I dress up like a wizard and chase my girlfriend around.
Does that count
