Yay, or Ney?

On women i can understand this, but wth is with older men in these?!? Dude on QVC wearing them, and the janitor who's been abusing me wears them. They must speak to something terrifying in the psyche. Like skinny jeans vs death or something.

I don't get skinny jeans either. They look uncomfortable for one thing. I personally have not wore jeans in several years, I only have cargo pants.
Thanks for this!

I wear big mom jeans that fit all the way under my bust (with elastic waist) in order to get them to fit on my legs. They're the only comfortable kind since my weight can fluctuate. 😱

I didn't say anything in my first comment, unsure how to take what you said. But, are you, okay?

No skinny jeans on me or my husband, but my 9 yr old granddaughter insists on them. Must be what is "hip" at elementary school.
Thanks for this!

I wear skinny jeans, usually buy a size too big for my legs to get breathing room, but it causes the jeans to be too big on the hips/butt, so I'm busy lifting my jeans all day. And after wearing those jeans for a longer time, I need to wear sweatpants cause the skinny jeans start hurting. Don't like skinny jeans on older ppl, regardless of them being man or woman.

I dislike skinny jeans myself....on me, since I'm more muscular, they just look awful.

On guys.....no. Just no. Not a good look.
Thanks for this!

I'm sorry the janitor is abusing you, Angelique.

I like skinny jeans on some people. Like, the punk guys back in the late-'70's/early-'80's look cute in them. Anybodys in West Side Story looked cute in 'em.
Thanks for this!

(About the janitor, he and the bad neighbors haven't been around much lately. When they are, it's pure hell. I don't know what they're up to, maybe terrorizing someone else they want to drive away.)

That is just terrible. I've been in similar situations...it can make life pure hell. I'm glad they haven't been around much.

Yes. I never heard about anything like this, and neither has Google, apparently. I read how landlords will buy someone out (money in exchange for moving out), but nothing like I've experienced here. They are home now unfortunately.

At my heaviest my mom had to convince me to stop wearing skinny jeans because they weren't flattering. Now that I have lost 30 pounds I am right back into wearing them. They make me feel, well, skinny! They're certainly not comfortable, but they make me feel good on the inside, and that's what counts!
Thanks for this!

Oh, I also have throwback 90's ripped skinny jeans. When I was in elementary school I was obsessed with ripping my jeans. I'm sure my mom didn't appreciate it. That and cutting my jeans into shorts. F Yeah #90s!
Thanks for this!

On men, to me they are a nay. I have seen some teens that wear them, it does suit their particular style. I've also seen them worn with a sag which doesn't suit their style.

I do have a couple pairs of skinnys, they are better in the winter with boots over them, they don't bunch up. I have a favorite black pair, as well. I have the legs to pull it off, which helps.
Thanks for this!

my son in HS (early 2000s) wore skinny jeans...and he would have looked cute if he hadn't insisted on wearing boxers that bunched up over the top of them! never could get him to agree to that (he wasn't the only one though) it was a trend.
I wear skinny jeans, only because I'm pretty small and hate when my legs swim in the regular kind. however...if a guy my age was wearing them and not in shape...I think I'd be sad for him. trying too hard ya know?
Thanks for this!

Well, this 62 year old wears skinny jeans. I have nicely shaped legs, but carry some extra weight around my waist and butt. "Regular" pants that fit my waist and butt swim around my legs. They make me look short and dumpy. I'm not short. I haven't seen any men my age wear them so have no opinion how it looks. I guess it would depend on the guy's build.

My office is based in a middle school. Skinny jeans are the cool look for some kids today. Most of them look cute. They would probably hang me for using the word "cute."
Thanks for this!

There are skinny jeans and 'denim' leggings - fellow women please note the difference and don't wear them as the same. Wear your leggings beneath large long tops and sweaters. I don't need to see your camel toes. Also, if your leggings are so tight your skin shows through you might want to re-evaluate your decision to wear them.

I am a woman on the larger size of average and I like my skinny jeans - but they are jeans not leggings.

I like men in skinny slacks and jeans - especially if they are wearing a nice sports jacket with them and a decent pair of shoes. It is those that are baggy tapering to tight down from the knee that really make me gag.
Thanks for this!

I used to wear skinny jeans, and I still like them. I need more room to bend and pockets that are usable, though.
Thanks for this!
