The other day after I discovered that my 12 year old son had cut and eight inch slash into my recliner because he wanted to get his 14 year old brother in trouble, ( he needs no help he does well on his own) I remembered all the stupid things I did as a kid and wondered if anyone else remembered any stupid things too or was I the dumbest kid on earth?

The dumbest thing I did was when I was 8 years old. We were driving on a highway to our summer house. I was in the "way back" of the station wagon with the window down. My Dad was talking about how the old shower curtain covering our luggage was blowing off in bits and littering the highway. I thought I would help. so I climbed out the window and held the plastic on the car........going 50 miles an hour down the road.....I am bluching just thinking about it! Top that! LOL

Oh I can't top that. But I remember me and my Daddy being on the way to market by ourselves. I was so happy because we never got to spend time alone and he let me hold the money ($30) for the market. It was a beautiful spring day, I put my arm out the window, and WOOSSHH...there went the market money (and I got a blistered rear end too)

Oh my!!! Those are great!

My brother and I were always sent to buy bread. When the bread was not and fresh and straight out the oven, we could never resist biting the corners of the crusts off. We did this one day (I must have been about 4 years old) and decided to eat our corners of crust in the boot (trunk) of my Mom's car. So in we climbed and it latched shut. Leaving us trapped in the boot! I truly don't know how long we were in there for but I do remember yelling and screaming. My Mom and Dad were taking a nap and I think a neighbour eventually alerted them to the screaming. I remember my Mom taking out the speaker (old, old car) and peering into the trunk. I will never forget the first thing I saw when we got "saved" was her nose!
