The worst of my depression occurred in high school. The spring of my freshman or sophomore year (I can't remember) I started turning to flowers to calm me down. Soon I became enamoured with daisies and learned everything about them. Now daisies represent strength, calmness, and health to me.

Does anyone else have something similar that helps them?

And never have to breathe.

Life doesn't frighten me at all
Not at all
Not at all.

Life doesn't frighten me at all.

I feel similarly about trees - in particular the massive old growth forests of the Pacific rainforests. There is something comforting about them.
Thanks for this!
