I am in the process of enrolling at Lytle's Beauty School to become a cosmetologist! I've been a regular client for over two years and gone as far as having an orientation at an open house. The cost of the school has always scared me off, but I think I'm in a good place to enroll.

I also have an interview on Wednesday as a receptionist at a hair salon, they may work around my school schedule and I'll be getting experience for my career path.

Can someone PM me and review my 250 word essay? Thanks!

Sorry no time to read essay right now but I went to cos school and it was a happy time. So many memories and friends from there. I don't know how your state board test is but here in MI it really has a lot of questions about state laws so you want to pay attention there. You're going to have a blast.

I am happy for you.

I just want to point out that you articulate in your writing here on the forum. You convey your intended meaning(s) well. You are concise when it comes to doing so. I am of the thinking that you will do just fine. Can you share with us the theme of this required essay?

HI, we saw previously that you lost your job and I'm wondering how this all ties in with that.

I am assuming the tuition for this course isn't cheap. As an individual recently unemployed you may be able to get all or a portion of this funded. Go ahead and still apply for unemployment benefits. Enquire at that time about training programs and benefits. You may even be able to get funding for your tools (scissors, etc).

Additionally, find out if the program/school has any bursaries, scholarships, or subsidy programs. It is even possible they may be able to assign you a fee based on a 'sliding scale'. I realize this can be incredibly stressful to do so and cause a great deal of anxiety but you won't know if you don't ask.
Thanks for this!
