TL;DR I am so confident with how well my job searches went that I may end up working TWO JOBS!!! AAAAHHHH!!!!! WOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

So, this morning I turned down a position as a landscaper. Too physically demanding. After that, I got a phone call to pick up a letter of recommendation from my boss at the Hilton. I went in and had a very lovely talk with my coworker, who told me that the card I had written for her and my other coworker, which on the front I had addressed them as "the dynamic duo", meant a lot to them and sincerely appreciated it, and told me that her husband, the houseman, was overjoyed with the books I gave him and was shocked--in a good way--when he read the card I had written him that fell out of one of the books. She told me that there was no one at the Hilton who couldn't see how hard I worked, and that made me feel really good about myself. Then I went to Round Table pizza for the second time to meet with the store manager who was not there, but the guy who had helped me before was there and he told me he'd give her the application and to call again after 3pm. I had an interview at 3pm at the casino for a dishwashing position at a sushi grill, and figured I would call Round Table if it didn't work out. I went in to the dishwashing interview absolutely confident and came out absolutely defeated and destroyed. I said all the wrong things and made a fool out of myself. Before this interview at 3pm, I had an hour to kill and needed to use the restroom, so I went into the newly built Chic Fil A (I had no idea they were open yet) where I inquired if they were still hiring and whether they were offering a FT position, which they were. The hiring manager was out on lunch, so I told them I would come back, and after my horrible dishwashing position I came back and was interviewed. It. Was. AWESOME! I did so well I blew myself away with how I went from a horrible interview making a fool out of myself to being the best possible candidate I could offer to them. I said all the right things without rambling, and I even made the interviewer tear up when I talked about my greatest strength. I thought it was a shoo-in, and when he asked if I had any questions, I asked "When can I start" to which he laughed at this, kindly, and told me he needed to forward my application to his operator and to expect a second interview sometime next week. I was a bit disappointed I wasn't hired on the spot, but I have a strong feeling I will be hired FT. Without being too hopeful, I called up Round Table pizza inquiring about the PT pizza delivery driver and have an interview at 3pm tomorrow. I have a very strong feeling of being hired on the spot. I will accept the position, and I will accept the position at Chic Fil A if given the opportunity and will do what it takes to be the best working at both jobs.

I'M SOOOOOOOOOOO EXCITED!!!!! I can't believe what a terrific day this has been! The possibility of not only being offered two positions but to work two positions is quite the achievement and I'm totally unbelievably completely excited! I'm so proud of myself and I'm hoping my prayers will be answered! AAAAAAAHHH!!!!

Awesome! I do caution you though, in taking on more than you can handle. Even for people not struggling with mental illness, 2 jobs can prove to be too much. Just be sure to look after your well-being first. Good luck!
