Right,

I thought about making a thread like this for a while and finally got round to it ! Why ? I LOVE shoes ( I spent 5 years working in the footwear industry) So, without further ado..
What shoes do you wear ?
Whats your favourite pair/style ?
Whats the most outrageous pair you have ?
Share please ! If you have pictures then even better !
To start off..
1xblue leather, 1xblack leather, 1x brown suede full brogue office shoes
2 pairs of trainers
3 pairs of black work boots
1 pair of sandals
1 pair of boat shoes
1 pair of canvas casual shoes
1 pair of converse type things..
2 pars of mid length walking boots, 1 pair of half length walking boots
I think i've forgotten a few but i'll think of them later ! Pictures to come soon...

Favorites are my Birkenstocks, clogs & sandals.
Have all colors & multicolored ones.
Multicolored ones really get noticed.

Its all about the vintage baby! Most of my collection is made up of pairs that are so old they couldn't withstand regular wear so for practicality i have a few pairs of good vintange inspired shoes that are well used and much beloved. In terms of a style i think i love brogues more than Sherlock Holmes. Yes i am a tall, skinny girl with feet like boats so i do look a bit like Sideshow Bob but these are probably my favourite pair;

...and as its a poo photo i thought i would make up for it with a slightly better one which will not only be off topic and another shameless plug of my awesome furniture, it is also a showcase of my greatest love of all; vintage scarves ^^

chaotic ~ Thankyou ! I tried Birkenstock sandals once and for some reason found them really uncomfortable, didn't suit my foot at all !
Multicoloured is the way to go

2023 ~ Brogues are my wallets Achillies heel Liking those floating pair you have ! Vintage is awesome. Many times I have been seen outside in my grandads trenchcoat, bowler hat and a pair of old rusty shoes But I love the style ! Most of all i actually find it comfortable !
Nice scarves you have there ! I'm sure I have some floating about somewhere !

When i get my proper camera working I'll take a proper pictire of my bluuuue shoes, I love them to pieces and don't know what i'd do without them ! And I looove the detail on them (I'm fruity about shoes haha.. don't judge )

that's about it. I've got a lot of other shoes for "special occasions" that I never wear, but I can pretty much live with the above shoes...

Technically I also have a hand-me-down pair of sneakers from my room mate that I wear often too.

This thread gives me hope that I am not the only one with a shoe obsession. I generally wear what I can find on my floor so most of the time that is my chucks with the argyle shoe laces my old therapist called them my happy shoes. I also have some camouflage chucks and some zebra chucks (can you tell I love my chucks? LOL) I have a pair of high top converse type high tops that are red and white and on the heal say Cornhuskers because I am a huge Huskers fan. I have some dressy shoes but generally stay in my casual ones. It is about time for me to get my flip flops

It's fall and I'm all about TALL boots. Due to physical issues I can't wear much of a heel but I love a little "lift" and wedges are super comfy and flattering

Two recent purchases are purple Doc Martins (in a half size which is virtually impossible to find, Docs never coming in half sizes...anymore) and gray and pink Asiacs. I wear boots boots boots...Docs, cowgirl, roper, tall suede, low heel, high heel.

I have never worn Birkenstock or Crocs. My oldest shoes are moccasins, ballet flats, high tops, and Docs...all falling apart.

I take my boots in to be stitched and reheeled and resoled, and they all last about 10+ years.

My favorite all time pair of shoes is something my boyfriend bought me for my birthday when I was young and in love/lust...a pair of red satin ballet type flats with some sort of ribbon type thing that wound round my ankle... because at the time I was a dancer. Needless to say I married the guy...

Oh gosh, 'wear' to start, haha....

I have several shoes and of course hiking and mountaineering footwear and krampons for both. I even have boots for wearing in a kayak and several pairs of snowshoes. But, it is my fashion boot collection which is shameful. I've short boots, calf boots, high boots, and even leg warmers that make shoes look like boots. I'm embarrased to say my boot collection surpasses a dozen. I admit I spend a lot of money on footwear; but, most of my shoes and boots are from before I got sick and ran out of money. They are 5, 10, and more years old.

My favourite brand of footwear is Jonathon Fleuvog boots

I own boots in all sorts of colors and styles. My favorite boots have straps on them.

I also own two pairs of dress shoes--brown and black.

I have walking shoes in black, white, and red.

And pairs of boat shoes in navy, light brown, dark brown, and leopard.

Of course, these are just my winter shoes.

I have 3 pairs of slippers. I guess on pair is really a pair of moccasins. All are missing the little lace "bow" since the dogs got to them. I can`t tie my shoes anymore, so when I have to go to the doctor, I wear a pair of slippers. I do have a pair of tennis shoes but they are worthless and I don`t see anyone tying them for me....

My husband used to have a much larger shoe collection than I, but I've surpassed him by quit a bit now and have a shameful amount of footwear. Due to chronic pain I rarely walk and these shoes should last me a life time unless they find a sudden cure for my afflictions.

I wear the plain old slip on slippers, when I have to see the doctor, etc. I can`t tie my shoes anymore, because I can`t bend over. Also can`t bring my legs up either. So I am stuck with my cheapo slippers until one of the dogs eats one.... Then I have to order more.

I have tons of shoes but only wear a few of them. I live in my dansko mary jane like clogs. They were expensive but they fit & have lasted so well worth the money. In the winter I live in my Technica after ski boots that are real fur of some kind. Comfey & warm. Working on my farm calls for muck boots....live in those most of the time. Around the house & running around quick errands its crocks....lined in the winter & summer sandles. The boots I mostlywear are black & brown riding boot style....tons of others I never wear & have filtered into a pile somewhere in the house. Every once in awhile I come across the pile & its like shoe shopping in my own home

Lots of comfort shoes, since I have plantar fasciitis and need some cushioning. Also three pairs of walking athletic shoes. I have a couple of dress shoes for going out. But mostly a lot of Clarks and Naturalizer shoes.

Better than my husband who wears the same pair of athletic shoes for months.

Shoes to the outfit are like shining tires to a just washed car! No matter how nice the outfit, the shoes can make or break the look!
It may not be very PC for a guy to say such these days, but I really do appreciate women who don't mind wearing nice heels with their outfit! ;-)
