I use my cell phone as my alarm clock. I can set the alarm to use any of the ring tones available on the phone.

I've found that after about two weeks using a specific ring tone, I want to change to a different tone. I eventually associate a specific tone with the awful feeling of having to get out of bed and face the world. So I change to something else, which feels at least a little better, but then I build an association for that tone too.

Anybody else do that?

All the time. Ringtones or alarms, I have to choose a ringtone that won't kill the song for me. I've had one of my favorite deadmau5 songs as a ringtone/alarm and I can't stand that song now.
