This Saturday I am doing my favourite thing,going to see a film with my niece and to our favourite Spanish restaurant for a meal.So I am so looking forward to that.My niece is coming up from university at London especially to join me.
We usually catch up on each others' news and also have a laugh and a joke,I have missed her a lot she has been gone since christmas and this is our first get together since then.

Also this weekend I may start my new project,which is to start knitting a scarf and some gloves,I used to knit when younger and I find it very relaxing and soothing,so I have the wool and the needles I ordered came,so I am all set and will start the knitting on Sunday.

I also have to start reading my new book, Gone With The Wind,so I will make time to do that this weekend.

Probably recovering from my daughter's birthday trip. We're going to a nearby aquarium and eating out.

Tonight we are going out to dinner with friends. I'll spend Saturday cooking meatballs and baking cookies and Sunday is cleaning day.

Boyfriend will be in town. And, of course, it's a lacrosse game tomorrow.

I will be doing some light chores this weekend,then reading,browsing online and chilling.I am going to try and go for walks for the exercise and fresh air.Just spend time alone and with my cats,peaceful and content,I hope.I will be thinking about when my niece visits in three weeks and we go for a meal to celebrate my birthday

I'm a major introvert and so far I've been watching nature documentaries all day long. I just can't get enough lol. I guess I just really love animals. But yea, that sums up my "exciting" weekend.

Not what I planned, as all my days are spent in bed. I am a type 2 diabetic and I was finally convinced to go to an Urgent Care for a badly infected toe. Well, they ask the usual questions, most I refuse to answer, doc comes in, looks at how bad the infection is and tells me I need admitted to the hospital for anti-biotic IV`s and all that crap. I had to tell him no twice, you are not putting me in the hospital, so he wrote out a few scripts for real strong anti-biotics and he said he doubts if they will work. Now that I have 16 or so hours to let it sink in, I am wondering if I should have went? I would have went to a different hospital though. I have been there before for my necrotizing chronic pancreatitis and my wife had 3 surgeries there, so I trust them more than anyone. I already know, I am going to lose at least my toe. Maybe more? As I sit here today half crocked on my Percocet's and OxyContin, I am realizing, I more than likely made a bad decision...

I am really sorry to hear your toe is so badly infected that you may lose it Baker.I hope you do go to the hospital that you know is one of the best and that they manage to save it.
I have diabetes type 2 also so appreciate what you are going through and the dangers of the disease...I hope it gets sorted with the best possible outcome for you.

I didn't do much this weekend except go to the coffee shop for my favourite caramel muffin and a latte and go for a few bits to the food hall,on Saturday.
Today,Sunday,I have been online and just waxed my hairy face and had a shower and I am about to eat egg and potato salad,then I will probably chill watch TV etc
My two cats have each chosen a spot to curl up and sleep in,it has gone dull,cold and windy outdoors,just as well it is warm inside with the heating on!

The upcoming weekend (Mar 3-5) will have me selling raffle tickets for a Harley Davidson at a Sports and leisure show. We are raising money for veterans in crisis.

This Saturday I have accepted an invitation to a Geek meet up for writers,called Writer's Assemble where people who love writing get together to talk about it over coffee.Finger's crossed that I attend and don't chicken out,it is in my favourite coffee shop.

Spending time with the nephews on Saturday. I'm thinking bowling/arcade/pizza sounds like a good time.

Don't have anything set in stone yet, would like to try & catch up with my best friend but I don't think it'll happen because she's got a lot going on & is being a bit distant. Probably will just go out & watch the footy. Season starts tonight! Bring on 5 nights a week of rugby league !!!!

Tomorrow my family is going to the beach.

Plans for Sunday is to go to a local ice cream parlor with my fellow Tikvah buddies. TIKVAH is a Jewish MH consumer group. Note. TIKVAH is not an acrostic. It means hope in Hebrew.

I chickened out of the writer's assemble meet partly cos I am just too nervous to meet the people,and because I always back out last minute cos of my social anxiety and I feel I will never make it through this block I have set up.

So a quiet weekend at home for me cos I want to rest up relax and read and cos I have no money left until pay day next Tuesday when I collect my benefits.
