Happen 30 mins ago at 10:30pm UK time.... a white van drove into people on a London bridge. No news other than that so far. Oh and there was a stabbing too... waiting on confirmation from the police

Yeah I have stopped watching it as they are just repeating the same info. Waiting on police to confirm things. Plus I get anxious with terror attacks so close to home

US news sources are reporting one incident of people being stabbed and another of a van running into a crowd.

I know we have PC members in the London area. Am hoping they are all safe. My heart goes out to those affected by this.

edited to add....

It is so easy to be overwhelmed by the horror and hatred of acts like these, I thought I'd add something positive that has come out. People in the area of the attacks are offering food and shelter to those impacted. Even amid horror, there are good, caring people in the world. Call me foolish if you want, but I chose to believe the good far outnumber the evil.

that's amazing

I remember the terror attack in manchester.. people did those sorts of things too

in fact I even heard people offered free taxi rides to people to take them anywhere they wanted to go.

I live in manchester, but thankfully I wasn't near the sceen

I've seen the news reports, and apparently it started with a white van or truck driving through a crowd of pedestrians on London Bridge, and then 3 men calmly walked away and went to the Borough Market nearby where they stabbed restaurant goers inside of restaurants. The 3 assailants were finally gunned down by London Police when they saw the attackers had on suicide bomb belts (which were later found out to be fake). As far as I know, 7 people were killed, and 48 were injured in these two attacks.

My heart goes out to the UK, as it is still reeling from the Manchester bombings, and now this happens. I think the recent attacks were brought about by Osama Bin Laden's son, who wanted vengeance for his father's death and released a video calling for attacks like this to happen.
