Ok I'm so impressed with myself tee hee!!! I've never been able to understand crochet patterns but I ran across one for a hat and tried it....I'm about halfway through it and its actually starting to look like a hat! Thought I'd share since cold weather is approaching.
I'm making it in brown worsted weight yarn that I had laying around. I wear a lot of brown but have no brown hats so I'm excited!!!! Crochet Hat

Cool!!! I'm gonna try and make a matching scarf when I'm done with the hat. I'm thinking it would come out nice in Homespun yarn too. I love Homespun! I'm halfway done with the hat already, its fast! I'm just happy I finally deciphered a pattern hahaha!!!!!

K I need opinions. The pattern calls for 6 more rows....here's a pic of what I have so far.....6 more rows leaves enough to fold up for a cuff, but I kinda like the skull cap look. Whatdy'll think?

I finished it last week but my phone wouldn't send the pics, and it finally did so here's a pic. I look like crap but the hat came out nice haha!!

Thanks guys! It was actually pretty easy. I want to make more hats when I get more yarn. Still trying to find a scarf pattern I like, so for now just making a simple one in brown to match the hat.

Oh it did come out purple in the pic huh....its actually brown too. I want to do one in a verigated black and white. Heck, I want to make a bunch more lol!
