Does anyone enjoy collecting anything? How long have you been a collector? What do you collect and why?

I love collecting dolls. I collect dolls because they comforting to me and they are so much fun to dress up in outfits and do their hair. I will be getting a reborn doll soon.

Does anyone have a collection? Does anyone have a collection? Does anyone have a collection?
Thanks for this!

I collect Lego's, I had to get rid of my collection when I moved so I'm trying to restart. I think they're fun , I don't care if I'm 23 years old I like them.

I'd collected 1:6 scale action figures for about ten years, before the hobby priced itself out of affordability... now I've gotten into doing customized ones, trying my hand at headsculpts (I am still awful).... nice to know my hand sewing is still pretty good, especially at that scale.

Cool and interesting.
I wish I could sew. What kind of figures do you customize? Does anyone have a collection?

I collect crystal figurines. I usually get them on special occasions. Usually Swarovski if we can afford it, otherwise something on Amazon.

also anything to do with Disney in general (different collection)

I also have a collection of the now that's what I call music series (UK edition)

I collect several things and why is asked....

-Hand blown glass pumpkins: I appreciate the natural symmetry of pumpkins but the artistry and technique of hand blown glass.

-Sea shells: they are soothing reminding me of the ocean and appreciate nature's own art.

-Crystal: its the sparkle and the sound it makes when pinged.

-Aqua blue glass- reminds me of ocean/sea waters, some of the best diving I have ever done in crystal clear blue waters.

Then there are:
-Dust bunnies and fur balls: I'd rather spend my time doing other things and well, they just accumulate so darn fast, they're always bound to be here somewhere.

I kind of feel like I'm collecting foreign languages, although not in a fun kind of way. Earlier I tried to collect just all kinds of knowledge, at least I feel like a collector's mindset is the one I approached the process with.

I collect used tickets all types but just ones that I have used or gifted from people which shared with me : journey,match,movie....it is a great ice breaking story on some long flights or train rides and a nice memory after, most of tickets are signed by their ex owners with few words.
