Aww, the sweet kitties.
They don't look too worried. Do they enjoy the drive to the vet? Do they enjoy the vet?

My cat hates the vet. He knows he'll be stuffed in a crate and always puts up a huge fight. Did I mention he's a big strong boy with really sharp claws? He shredded my mom's shirt once and got her belly good when she tried to do it by herself. It's a team effort now.

They handle the vet like champs, but they're not very happy about it, surprise surprise.

Artchic, have you tried making a cat burrito with a towel? That has helped me deal with violent cats in the past!

Tried it before, but he is so fast and his fur is so soft and silky it's hard to get a good grip. That and he sticks out his legs straight out so burrito-ing him is quite difficult.

Liking their mouths out of nervousness? Or because they are anticipating the treats?

Ha ha oh sorry for laughing.

It's a good tip, though. I presume a burrito is like a sausage roll?

He sticks his legs out straight He's no fool.

I sympathise. The first time I took Pud to the vet was... interesting. I'd warned the vet but he insisted on pulling her roughly from the cage.

She went berserk, poor thing. Practically bounced off each wall. We had to peel her from the window ledge.

So much of my blood was spilled, I had to wash it off my hands before we left.

I found this in my room at my parents' house. Its a card I made.

I am so tempted to post a pic of myself with a baby but instead you all can look at this pic I did not draw but really liked enough to save to imgur.

Starsky, what are you knitting (sorry if you said so in the other thread, and I missed it)? That's a pretty good card too. Lot's of artistic skill in this bunch .

PVB, yes, like a sausage roll! I wish I had photos of my childhood cat, rolled up like a mini strudel. I feel bad for Puddy though, even though I'm laughing too.

Thanks!

(((((Borneo))))) No apologies necessary. The blueish green thing is a scarf, and the white Soapy colored thing is the beginning of an afghan.

Izzy, the tabby, just had a treat, if I recall. Oregano won't touch treats at the vet, so nervousness for him, poor fellow.

Cat in a different kind of container.

It says "Cats" on the box, so it's *my* box.

The last image is nice -- simple and good.

I love the figure you made on the card. Thank you for sharing that.

I wish I could draw like that. I think one of my biggest problems is not being able to loosen up whenever I've tried to sketch.

I assume someone knitting in your house is you -- rather than some random person who broke in and knit.

Someone broke into my place once. They took a look around, and left ten dollars.

She accepts snacks at the vet? Wow. If I tried that with Pud... No... I can't imagine that... It would be like throwing Maltesers at a tank.

A book? Bible? I can't imagine.
