This is the most random post I have had the pleasure of seeing in a long while!

Toes can be a little creepy, when they are super duper long... but itty bitty baby toes are the cutest thing!

Toes rhymes with nose, and little button noses are cute too, but long and crooked ones can be creepy, just like toes...

Toes are good and I love to get pedicures. And I always wear a handmade brass ring on my toe.

I find women's toes sexy as long as they take good care of them.

Oh, god. I’ll admit it... I don’t have a genuine fetish and it isn’t partialism but I like women with long, distinctly jointed, prehensile toes. Morton’s Toe is a must (I had that longer second toe, too... when I had feet).

I’ve never thought of toes as ticklish? Soles of feet are ticklish, though.

Honestly? I find every part of the human body attractive. The ugliest part of the body can be the mind.

I'm feel naked without a nice pedicure. People with yucky dirty toes creep me the hell out. I saw a woman recently with really, really long toenails painted and everything. I don't know she could wear a shoe other than flip flops....Yuck!

I'm sad about my toes. I always had such cute nice toes, but now one toe , the second toe on left foot has developed what is termed "hammer toe." I no longer feel comfortable wearing sandals. There is no pain; it's just ugly in my eyes. I use a corrective toe wrap that helps straighten it, and I know I could wear sandals with it and be unnoticeable. It's just not perfect as in the past.

Re pedicures....I could never stand someone touching my toes!

I keep my toes covered for these reasons. Had no idea it was even possible someone would like these things

I couldnt stand pedicures either. I cant tolerate nail polish on any of my nails. It gives my vails a smothered feeling. I keep ALL my nails cut short.

I always wear shoes & no flip flops so my toes never show. Living in a house with 3 dogs....shoes are a must.....& living on a farm, I never go outside mush without boots & bug spray to keep the chiggars off.

My toes arent ticklish. The bottom of my feet are sensitive but not ticklish either.

I like toes. I am barefoot a lot. And when I wear shoes or sandals, I don't wear socks.

Oh, no, don’t!

From Greco-Roman times through Michelangelo, long toes and, particularly, a long second toe was considered the ideal. Look at the art from all.

I tell this story too often, but:

I knew a gentleman, in his 80’s, who told of seeing a beautiful woman on the bus. He wanted to speak to her, but, “I looked down and she had the ugliest god-damned feet and I can’t abide a woman with ugly feet.”

I agree.

Oooo... people who wear socks with sandals are disgusting! It was popular, at one time, to wear ragg-wool-socks with sandals. Those days have passed.

Me feet like to BREATHE! If I could be barefoot all the time, I would! I miss the days of being a kid, where no one really expected me to wear shoes...

My ex... seldom wore shoes. Shoes for specific sports - running, mountaineering - but sandals whilst driving (state law) yet off the moment that she exited the car. Her bare feet, her calling-card. Many a man felled. An extraordinary woman, a sinner who could not abide my greater sinning.

Yes, as a child, my generation of upper-middle-class Californians: no mother would put shoes on a 5-year-old!

Clothing, optional. Shoes, optional. Feet, keep clean and bare.
Thanks for this!

Same. But kids don't play outside, like I did, all those years ago. I was outside unsupervised roaming downtown on foot and on bike.

I frequently drive bare foot. I drive a standard and it's much easier with no shoes on.

I like being barefoot and I am very often when I am home.
I will wear flip flops a lot in the summer depending on what I am doing.
I do like my feet to breath, it just feels good and I am lucky to have pretty
nice feet so I don't have any anxiety over being barefoot.

I'm a barefoot baby, too, almost all year 'round. Have been that way all of my life. I understand completely.

Lol Awesome thread. xD My thinking is that since toes are at the front of the foot, which is all over very ticklish/sensitive, it gives us a chance to back off if we step on something sharp, hot, or particularly cold. Our feet are pretty important, after all. As for why we get ticklish at all (as in, laugh hysterically hah), that's well beyond what I could come up with... maybe nature/creator trolling us.
