My little man who's five in three days just got home from school.

I'd forgotten that I put hamburger on the stove and I went in the kitchen and said absentmindedly, "Goodness, I'm losing it!". He said, "what?" I said, "my mind!"

He said, "Well, you have to find it then. I'll help. Tonight when it gets dark, you make a wish and your mind will come back when you sleep." LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL.

So cute AND true. Funny kid stuff

How cute. My 4 year old has this thing where she has to know what "everything" is made of. And sometimes I don't know what to tell her! lol

I understand that. David's going through the "why" stuff a bit late and because of it, it's worse...more in depth and no nearly so easy to answer...

Whew!

Good luck to us both!

For my nephew's 4th birthday this year he and I went on a "secret expedition". I took him to the toy store and told him could pick out 2 toys.
We spent some time looking around and he selected this robot. I looked for the age limit and it was for 6 and up, I explained that it was too old for him but he assured me it is OK.
I explained to him why it was important and he said "OK tsha, I don't want anything for more than 4 years old". And as he continued to look for his 2 toys it was the first thing he looked for when he looked at a toy. Some he really liked but he put them back without me saying anything telling me "tsha that's too old for me".
