I moved lawns in my neighborhood for 6 or 7 years until I went to college. I should have stuck with it instead of mindlessly staring at a textbook and getting drunk half the time.

Second place is Santa Claus Is Coming to Town by Springsteen.

I was doing odd jobs for a music correspondence course writer at his house in the hills overlooking Burbank Calif. Cabt even remember his name. That didnt last long. It was when I was in junior college aroung 17~18.

Then I decided to yake a data entry course while going to school. That opened up many good jobs that paid my way through college To become a computer engineer not just a data entry person.

My first REAL career job after getting my degree was a computer firmware design engineer programming military communications systems back in the late 1970's. That was a great career

Taco Bell. Had to go across town to get a piece of paper that I guess was a Worker's Permit because I was under 18 at the time. Washed dishes, mopped, took out the trash, swept the dinning room, prepared some food. Stuff like that.

Started mowing yards and raking leaves at age 9. Babysitting at age 11. First real job where I had to report income was selling magazines over the phone at age 16.
