Really? Me too. I have a high threshold for pain. Certain kinds of pain can be like candy for me. I'm also a sadist but, not the usual kind. I'm a bit different. :-)

Different in what way? You can pm me if it's not appropriate for here.

Pain drives me absolutely wild.

Anyone else like to keep up with their local news? I find news about crime and disastrous events particularly interesting.

I'm sorry that you have to deal with that.

Don't be sorry. It's part of what makes me who I am. I used to read the news daily. Then there was a mass shooting in the states (I won't say which one) and I couldn't sleep for days and was in tears about it. Since then I avoid the news like the plague.

I'm glad that you're coping well.

Do you like listening to music?

Yep. All types depending on my mood. My phone has a lot of pop, rock, country and 80's music on it. I would say 80's is my favorite genre, but truly I love all music.

Cool.

I mostly listen to hip hop but some great music came out of the 80's. You got a favourite song/singer/band?

All time favorite song is Moonlight Desires by Gowan, from the 80's. Other than that it depends on my mood. I will find one song that just speaks to my mood and listen to it over and over again.

Cool.

I like that song too. I also like "Strange Animal" and "A Criminal Mind" by Gowan.

Also good songs. My best friend met Gowan, which I think is awesome.

I spend most of my free time listening to music and reading.

I used to read a lot of true crime. Now I read Stephen king regularly. Just finishing the Mr Mercedes trilogy. I also like reading books that hit the best seller list just to check them out. For example the 50 shades of Greg and hunger game trilogies. I loved the HP and GOT series. Plus so many odds and ends. I'm all over the map.

I used to own a copy of "Cujo" by Stephen King. I never finished reading it though.

Also, I too used to read a lot of true crime stories. They were all about serial killers and psychopaths like Ted Bundy, Charles Manson, etc. After a while, the interest turned into disgust and so I stopped. It became depressing too.

You said you like to bake. Do you consider yourself to be good at it? I like baking, it's fun. I like to cook in general.

I'm not bad. I make bread, pretzels, cookies, cheesecake, pies, tarts, etc. I do also enjoy cooking and trying new things.
