Surgery is normally the last option that a doctor will go down. Please go back to you doctor if you have any doubts. If you need a second opinion then maybe it's another option especially if it is elective surgery.
There is heaps of negative stuff on the internet to find. Rarely do we see positive things. |

The last surgery I had was emergency surgery. I was completely high on hydromorph and fentynal when I signed the paperwork for it. When I was recovering I had bad anxiety about the surgery, even though it was already done.
Knowing in advance must be tough. I might suggest not reading anymore about it if it makes you feel worse. Good luck! |

It sounds like something that's normal to be anxious about, but it also sounds like you've done a good job of looking at your options and getting a second opinion... that should, hopefully, give you some reassurance.
