So his doctors prescribed opiates to a man formerly addicted to heroin? Aaahhh God, this is so sad. The disease of
addiction takes too many. And addiction so often follows child abuse (as in Tom Petty's case.)

Tom Petty deserved pain relief, even though he was an addict. But why didn't his doctors take a look at how much medication he was on...I just don't get it.

It is very sad. That he passed, and how he passed. ((((((((Tom Petty)))))))) I think he was like a musical genius. So many good songs.
