Dancing with the Stars fans? Anyone?

Normally this isn't a show I watch, but as many of you know I am a big auto racing fan. So I have tuned in this season to support driver Helio Castroneves. Just curious if anyone else out there is watching and which dancers you are supporting.

Unless someone I'm a fan of participates in the future, I don't think I'll continue as a fan of the show. Just not my thing.

I love Dancing with the Stars -- I'm not sure why, LOL, but I do enjoy it.

This season, I looove Helio! He's adorable, for one thing, and he really puts himself into whatever they're doing that week.

I'm also rooting for Jennie Garth, because I was a 90210 fangirl back in the day, and because for being 35 and having had 3 kids, she looks phenomenal.

I am a fan of the show as well. I wish I could do moves like that! not sure really who I am rooting for yet though. I love Jane Seymour and Marie Osmond as well. so many good ones this season!

Hi all...haven't been around lately...Sorry about that...but I do love dancing with the stars...I watch because it is a fun show and there is nothing scarey about it....I am very picky with my tv right now...shows I used to be able to watch I can't anymore...I would like to see Jane or Marie win because they are older than the rest and I think it would be a boost to us older women...lol

I've never seen it, but I'm a big All My Children fan and I heard Cameron Matheson (Ryan Lavery on All My Children) was on it. Did he do well? Is he still in it? He is one hot piece of man meat!!!

Cameron is still on and doing well. I'm not crazy about him, but I seem to be in the minority.

I like Jane Seymour too -- she looks absolutely fabulous for her age and is the picture of grace and class!

Frankly, I enjoy watching them all dance and improve as weeks go on. Honestly, it doesn't matter to me who wins, I just enjoy the show..
Cameron M is fine. I enjoy watching him dance.

Candybear can I just say I nicked your picture starting "I am in your forum" for a later date, grammatically I am like that, the downside is the kitten, I hate cats, but he context still is valid.

Shocked by last night's results?

I was but wasn't at the same time. My guess is that compared to the other competitors, Sabrina does not have a large fan base. Many people are probably voting like I am, for the person rather than the actual dance performance. What do you folks think?

I was shocked! I could not believe she was voted off. I love Marie and Jane but let's face it. they ain't spring chickens as we say in the south! lol

I love Marie and Jane precisely BECAUSE they aren't spring chickens! The world needs to know women over 40 are still alive and vibrant and have much to offer.

Still, I was surprised one of them didn't go. But I never thought Sabrina was as great as the judges et al. were making her out to be.

I'm still rooting for Jennie and Helio!

Marie got another week's worth of sympathy votes, but she has GOT to go next week. I was stunned that it wasn't Jennie tonight, but happy -- she's my other favorite!

How do you feel about the hosts? Samantha depresses me -- THAT'S what a journalism degree from Northwestern gets you?? Tom cracks me up. He's nicely snarky, which is fun, and I love people who find themselves in goofy situations and refuse to take themselves seriously.

I've been reading the message boards on the Dancing with the Stars site, and there are many negative comments about Samantha. I laughed at one thread that was titled 'Can we vote Samantha off?'

I'm not quite sure what people don't like about her. But I will say that I preferred the guy who was hosting in her place at the beginning. I do enjoy Tom as a host.

What's your take on the judges? One seems to get on my nerves every week but it's never the same one! Although I will say Carrie Ann seems to irritate me more than the other two.

Carrie Ann gets on my nerves too. I think she's there for eye candy, mostly. She rivals Len for the Nitpicky Award, LOL.

I like Len for goofy reasons -- for one, my dad's name was Len, and for another, he's cute when he smiles! LOL But I *love* Bruno. He's so passionate, and the goofiest stuff comes out of his mouth, and it's funny!

You can't really fault any of them (except perhaps Carrie Ann ) on their credentials to judge dancing, so it comes down to personality, really, imo.

And yes, I would love to vote Samantha off!

I'm happy about that -- he's actually my pick to win. But I am SO upset Jennie went home!!!

I really thought that Marie would get the boot....I guess she is more well liked by the fans than Jennie.

When they announced his name I started doing one of these All happy tears of course. How nice the trophy will look next to his two Indy 500 trophies.

I'm happy too! I never did understand the Mel bandwagon, I think maybe because her personality just didn't appeal to me as much as Helio's. He's a charmer, all right! Charisma to spare, cute as a button and I hear he broke up with his gf recently.... And his dancing really was so dynamic.

Whoever handed him the jug of milk, that was a seriously cute touch.

I have found over the years that no matter how good the technique is....if they don't have the charisma...they don't win!

Intensity is great in some of the dances, but Mel had way too much of it in everything. Helio was definitely the crowd pleaser!

As far as I know, Helio is engaged and planning for a January wedding.

Helio's breakup with his fiancee made the AP wire and the New York Times yesterday.....

Which one didn't go to Iraq with his unit so he could dance?
