Take what I say with a grain of salt, because most likely, it won't be true.

I get the sense that you are an Aries. That is the sign of the Ram. Bold, intuitive and strong, that is what an Aries is. With their confidence and strength, they are natural born leaders, and are determined to do a good job at it. However, they have a short temper, and with that moodiness, comes impulsiveness. Something maybe to work on.

I also seem to be getting the impression of a ferret. Maybe you have pet ferrets, or want one? They are a curious critter, full of inquisitiveness and energy. Just be sure to make sure any room you let them play in is "ferret proofed" because they will get into everything in the room, much like a toddler.

How am I doing so far?

Quick, now all you arm-chair psychics out there do a cold-read and see if you can get the OP to reveal more that you can use to enhance your "read!"

I'm going to guess and say someone who has ADHD and a narcissistic trait (or even personality) or two. Someone very insecure who doesn't function well around others, most likely due to feelings of inadequacy. School was/is a drag--not the most popular student, or you wouldn't have time to post here. I sense that you don't have a job, or if you do, it's one you hate, and your job history is spotty.

Shall we keep going with le Spaghetti vs Wall method of cold-reading?
Thanks for this!

I can sense much skepticism in you. Then again, one who doesn't possess the "gift" can't possibly understand.

any psychics wanna give me a free reading?

lol "Gift?" I think the problem is, my friend, that some people confuse "psychic" ability with some as-yet unexplained sensitivity or abnormal amount of mirror-neurons.

James Randi has a standing challenge to any psychic that can prove their ability with a rigorous double blind test, with $10,000 going to the person who can reliably demonstrate such phenomenon.

To date, no one has claimed it.

Simply put, I think "psychics" are just people who are better listeners to subtle cues and body language, which in itself is pretty cool. That suggests that we can all teach ourselves better empathy and active listening skills.

Hmph. Like I said, one who does not possess the ability of the inner eye, otherwise known as the ability to tap into the universal stream of conciousness, can't possibly understand our innate gifts.

You see, I'm an empath as well as possessing the ability to tap into one's aura and heal that which blemishes it. I can see auras by closing my physical eyes, and opening that third or metaphysical eye. In other words, I an gifted in the art of healing. I practice and am apt in Reiki healing, that which uses chi and psychic healing powers to open the 7 Chakras to allow the universal energy to flow harmoniously throughout the body's metaphysical being.

It runs in the family. Grandma felt the healing powers within her and became a nurse. She had such immense healing energy within her, that watches she wore often stopped working when she wore them for a few months. She was just that powerful that she drained their batteries I guess.

Mom is also a healer. She never went into the medical field, but her calm, quiet nature and ability to be so nurtering, more than made up for it. She too, possesses the ability to drain watch batteries rather fast, same as her mother, same as myself.

I do not doubt the existence of something in the way of chakras; same for being an empath. However, I simply don't believe it's a mystical source of (insert noun) or that we're seeing the actual reality of it.

Instead, I think it's as Plato described reality. We sit in front of a blank screen, watching shadows play, when in reality, we are seeing only the shadow of...reality. Whatever is generating the shadows is outside of our human perception--behind us, in other words. I think Jung was close to touching upon it with his ideas.

More importantly, I think it is going to be, when it's finally discovered, something more amazing and vast than we can possibly dream of, something so profound that merely the act of witnessing it will forever change our understanding.

My problem, and I imagine that of others, is that such phenomenon has never been duplicated under rigorous scientific protocols. This suggests that something is amiss, and rather than go with the mainstream and say that the results mean that there is nothing there, I think it is a case of something actually being there, but we're looking at it the wrong way because as humans we are limited in our perception and therefore can't really see the truth of the matter.

I'm more of an agnostic who looks for the deeper meaning in everything through the lens of mathematics and fractals.

This is interesting and makes me think about things, too. I am currently reading a book about particle physics and how we really, out of 100% of the things to know about the universe, really know about 5%. There's so much more to know. It brings up questions for me, though, about God, psychic phenomena, and ghosts. I think scientists think about this kind of stuff too. I mean, I know the popular consensus among them is "there's no supernatural." Maybe not. But could there be something? An explanation? There's got to be. And why IS it the popular consensus among them? I'm so curious and want to know more.

I became an agnostic after experiencing more harm than help from healers. Doesn't mean we can't see things others can't. Doesn't mean....we don't have telepathy. There could be an amazing explanation for it scientifically. Doesn't take away from the beauty of it. I was once in a psychic's room getting reiki. It was relaxing and I was imagining lush green grass. She asked me just then, if I saw the color green. I do see psychic and reiki businesses now as more of a sham, with a deep potential for harm, considering what I personally experienced. But anyway, perhaps there is an answer for all of it (the phenomena, that is. not the harmful behavior. thats just people being weird jerks).

To the OP, I have no psychic info for you.
Thanks for this!

I"m on board with Jung"s "collective unconscious" and also the physics of thoughts and words and actions and the potential reverberations they create in the world - -

And I agree that our own limitations and lack of understanding are more probable than the likelihood that psychic/paranormal phenomena simply don"t exist

Also - everything that exists is Math - which is the coolest thing ever - great post! - -

Hi. If you recently spilled something onto your keyboard it may have affected the connections. There are tutorials on YT that could help that. But also, there might be a crumb or something caught under one of the keys. That happened to me once and caused the keyboard to go mad - which then caused me to go mad. My laptop nearly went sailing through the window, 'teehee'.

Try holding the keyboard upside down and press the effected key - looks like the 'o' key - repeatedly. Maybe the crumb will fall out.

@wordshaker:

Also, if your computer has an onscreen keyboard program, you can use the cursor to type the letters. An interim fix.

Better yet, use the horsehair duster brush attachment that comes with every good vac and vac out the keyboard. Use a can of air at the same time--it will help dislodge more. Then vac out the vents while you're at it and clean the screen. Your computer will thank you.

Welcome. If it's just water then put the keypad in a warm place until the water evaporates. Should do the trick. Hair dryer might work too. Not microwave[!] I know, it's a pain in the a$s. Think peaceful thoughts.

Wait...I'm getting something...

any psychics wanna give me a free reading?

...I'm seeing...a damaged laptop in your future...and a $75 bill from wherever you take it to get repaired.

...or...take the laptop apart carefully (you can find instructions on your specific model on Bing) and clean it with 91% rubbing alcohol and Q-tips. A static wristband wouldn't hurt, either.

Either the laptop is broke, or we are being trolled. lol Either way, I'm amused.

The damage is oh so here and now, lol. Hope the bill will be that cheap... but have hung it out to dry awhile. Luckily have a super cheap back-up model from the Store Which Must Not Be Named.
