Why did you choose your avatar?
I don't know how I found mine. I was severely depressed when I joined PC and searched for an image that looked how I felt in that moment. |

My avatar is a pic of me with some filters applied. My sig has a pic of a “Phoenix” that I drew. The Phoenix is fitting; crash and burn only to rise from the ashes.

A pheonix tattoo is really cool. They are a very old myth.
I love my two tattoos. I wish I had more. I have hated my body for a long time and felt trapped in it. I wanted a tattoo for a long time but felt it would be morally wrong. I finally came to my senses and realized I have every right to make me feel pretty and comfortable in my skin. Tattoos are part of that. Ownership of me. |

My avatar is the dark wizard, Magus from the game "Chrono Trigger". Magus is a tortured soul who turned to darkness and is seeking revenge against a diabolical alien who ripped his family apart. He fights with a scythe and uses powerful elemental magic attacks as well as Shadow Magic.

Well, when I picked LadyShadow as my handle, I needed something that would fit that. So I found a cool pic of a gypsy and that's my avatar.
(I picked this name because it sounded cool and mysterious)

My stepfather was a 6'2" Italian street-wise tough-guy, who was actually a sweetheart. He had a black panther tattoo with tiny blood streaks at the claws where it "clung" to his skin. He passed away years ago. It's funny to think what endearing attachments I have to this image.
Oh, and my image is a Wordshaker illustration. I like that the leaves are lower case letters. |
