Lol. Along those lines, some female relatives were visiting me and my mom before a party they were throwing that weekend, then one said, "well i have to go home and help your uncle cut the cheese." English is not her first language so she didnt realize what she said, and her daughter just put her head down, which was even funnier. We enlightened her and everybody had a good laugh. It was the idea of her HELPING him - what did that even mean?!
Thanks for this!

I was in a laundry mat once and the vending machine wasn't working right when I tried to get a snack. The man working there opened it up and asked me what I wanted.

I told him I wanted sticky buns.

Ugh..he was sure eager and willing to give me some.

I asked someone (who is a lawyer), "Is the bar hard?" At first he just stared at me, and in those few seconds I was like, "oh man, that sounded dirty."

There is a restaurant called XXX Rootbeer. It’s a family restaurant. It has something to do with beverages from the early 1900s.

Little known secret: Drycleaners use waxed paper to keep the racks slick so the hangers will slide. I was applying it one time and someone asked me what I was doing. I said "I'm waxing my rod." lol

Oral communication, perhaps it would be better to say verbal communication.

My wife and I were having a conversation and somehow my phone's voice search was on. I think we were talking about deserts. Anyway, I looked down at my phone and it had completed a search for "chocolate spread that but(t)". I'm glad my son didn't see the screne, lol.
