My p-doc is a humorous guy. So I mentioned the other day on the boards that my car was crushed by a tree. I went to see the p-doc yesterday as part of my monthly visits and told him about it. He says "how did you react"? I told him I laughed at the absurdity of it all. And he deadpans "so you didn't smash it again"? I tell him no and he comes with "because that probably would have been the first thing of no value that you smashed". I cracked up.

Anyway, I bought a 2016 Dodge Challenger. All black, all business. I gave it a lot of thought and since I've already been through my mid life crisis about eight times, I just went with it and didn't talk myself out of it. I looked at an Accord too but was afraid I'd fall asleep at the wheel. I waited a few weeks to make sure this wasn't an impulsive BP-type decision. My kids are old enough to hop in and off we go. Hair is long again, so it's time for some fun and positivity.

I get the 'wait' and wish to avoid the appearance of making a bipolar manic decision.

My ex had a challenger. I kept it because he couldn't afford the payments and I was paying way too much for it just to give it to him. Anyhow, my next boyfriend (now my husband) decided to ride down the freeway in it. It rode so smooth that he didn't notice he was doing 110 mph with it!

The last time I destroyed a car, I ended up with a minivan; I would have preferred a Dodger Challenger.

Yeah that would have been one of the critiques I faced from my family.

Thankfully (uhhhh perhaps) my kids are teenagers so I could avoid the minivan temptation.

He's also a great doc - just lets me talk and work things out on my own without being too intrusive.
