who is watching the royal wedding this weekend.

I don't plan to watch it myself (not a big royal family follower), but might end up watching some of it anyway

also has anyone seen any good deals/ offers at places for the royal wedding weekend.

I saw a news artickle, where they said they are letting people enter the theme park for free, but only if they are called harry or meggan.

cute!
Thanks for this!

I'm fascinated by the royal family. I'm not going to stay up all night to watch the wedding, but I'll record it and watch it. I'm excited to see Meghan's dress...I hope it isn't super-minimalist, but it probably will be. My girlfriends & I stayed up all night to watch Charles and Diana's wedding; it was magnificent and her dress was like a fairy story. Diana was just a year older than we were.

I will be out camping as it's a long weekend in Canada. Love the royals, but honestly not super interested in Harry and Meghan's wedding.

I'll probably wind up watching, because I sort of have a soft spot for the royals and tradition, and I want to see her dress.

I'm not getting up before the sun to watch but will probably see snippets being run all day of the highlights.

I probably won't watch, not my thing. I haven't heard anything about discounts, probably since I'm in the US.

I won't be watching either. The Royals are interesting. Sort of like a soap opera. But I don't like the idea of their thinking they are better than the commoners and all that stuff.

Being American, I'm not a fan of royalty in any form. That said, I guess the Brits enjoy the royals, so I'll mind my business. I certainly won't be watching the wedding myself. I'd love to see the prince working behind the counter at a McDonalds....Time to get a job!

I'm sure that I'll see plenty of highlights plastered in various places online. I know that this is lost on my kids. For instance, plastered on a tabloid was a headline about Fergy not being invited. My oldested asked if it was because she botched the National Anthem?(NBA All Star Game) I needed to explain same name, different women.

I'm not sure if my Gram will watch. She's read oodles of British History books in her lifetime. The Queen's story was a big deal for her, as they are roughly the same age.

I haven't had the feeling that the contemporary royal family thinks they're better than anyone. In past times, certainly they did. These days they seem so humble, almost go out of their way to refrain from being superior. I really believe that Diana brought the concept of being "a royal" down to earth and made them real people. And her sons sure follow her example.

Will watch some of the reply on YouTube. Haven't had a TV for 11 years.

Bet her dress has to have ROYAL approval so it might not be what she would normally choose....we will see.

Really no interest. My ears have perked up at hearing about the ringer people have been putting this poor girl through on account of her race and background. Deplorable.

I’m so tired of hearing about it. I just want it to be over. I didn’t even know about it until a couple weeks ago.

The good thing about being in Australia is that it will be in prime time so there will be no need to get up early in the morning. Nobody does pomp and ceremony like the brits. Most of the TV stations will be streaming it live. Bit sick of all of the lead up specials etc. So yes I will be watching.

I also watched the wedding of Diana and Charles on the telly all those years ago.

My alarm is set for 6:45. 11:45 London time. The nuptials start at noon. I think Will and Harry deserve all the happiness life has to offer. From all I have seen they are very down to earth young men.

I'll never forget Charles and Di's wedding. I was assigned the easy side of the nursing home I worked at. I was assisting a couple in their morning routine. They had been married for decades and now shared a room in a nursing home. The wife was so caught up in the wedding and pomp of it all that she didn't want to tear herself away from the TV. She hoped Di's marriage would be as happy as her own. We know that didn't happen.

So sad. But at least the elderly lady enjoyed the wedding. It was spectacular!

LOL, I could watch the royals all day and night. I just set my TV to record the wedding

I still won't watch the wedding - I had an ugly divorce & wish I'd missed my own wedding - & because I do have a problem with monarchies in this day & age. What you write, however, is true. They do seem down to earth. As I wrote earlier, I'm American, & Brits seem to get a kick out of the royals, so more power to them. It's 3:00am EST & I'm up early yet again. I could watch the wedding, I guess, but I'd rather watch infomercials.

I wasn't planning to, but I woke early anyways. I'm glad that I did. There was a touch of Americana in the service.

I wasn't very interested, but then I watched it and it was nice I'm not watching the part after it though. In my country it was a comfortable time of the day.

Watched coverage this morning. I like the history that is part of the ceremony, and the informality that the Americans bring to it.

I've watched the entire wedding ceremony and the carriage ride afterwards. It was all so sweet, down-to-earth, lovely, and a wonderful break from our stressful world. I'm glad I watched...I needed it.

I was a bit melancholy, though, missing Princess Diana. We were the same age and I just adored her. I hope that somehow she knows what fine sons she has.
