medical conditions being used in songs just because it ads to the song.

case in point: demi lovato's heart attack

I mean it's a great song, and it's quite catchy, and I do understand the lyrics and why she used them, but I'm not sure people should just go around using those conditions at their free will to add to the songs (I know what I mean, but probably struggling to explain it)

in another example, the song " start without you", uses Amnesia so they can explain dancing so hard you forget where you are or what you're doing

it's just weird.... and perhaps their arn't many of them about, but they exist

Currently it’s Taco Bell’s Quesadillas. I used to love them. Then they started grossing me out. It was the same time that I just randomly couldn’t do sour cream anymore after being fine with it and liking it my whole life. I figured the sauce on the quesadillas was made with sour cream. I googled it the other day. The sauce is made with both sour cream AND mayonnaise. Which I’ve only intentionally eaten once or twice in 13 years and been severely grossed out from both times. I get quesadillas from Chipotle’s now. Nothing but a flour tortilla and cheese.

Also this local restaurants secret ingredient in their famous chocolate cake is mayonnaise. I found that out 2 years ago. Never again will I eat a slice.
Thanks for this!

But why would you stop eating something you enjoy? I mean, it's one thing if you stop eating meat or animal products because of animal cruelty but what did mayonnaise ever do to you? I'm not trying to be mean or rude, but...why are you against mayonnaise of all things?

I don’t enjoy mayonnaise because I got sick one time and now it just makes me sick to even think about eating it let alone actually eating it. I’m not against mayonnaise I just don’t like it. I don’t want to eat something I don’t like. I used to enjoy the quesadillas. Until I started finding them repulsive and did not enjoy eating them anymore.

I actually talked about my mayo fear at work. They didn’t really understand which I get. It’s an odd fear.

Heroin...I've had so many junkie friends. I've always liked them a great deal; they are generally intelligent, creative, intriguing and intrigued people.
Creepy....hmm...yes, there is certainly a creepy vibe to heroin users. They always, without any exception I've ever seen, have a flat, charcoal-grey aura. Not sure how to explain it....sort-of like they are living within a deep-grey cloud that never moves or shimmers, but just hangs around them.

I've been very curious about heroin for many years of my life. Forced myself never to use it, however. Heroin users...might be more sad than creepy. They are very, very sad. As Neil Young put it, so precisely...Every junkie's like a setting sun...
Well, now this is bizarre.

I’m listening to Neil on Apple Music just now and The Needle and the Damage Done just finished maybe two minutes ago.

Weird, hunh?

I went for a long period avoiding eye contact. I would look at someone’s mouth instead.

Now I’m back to making eye contact. Some people freak when I make eye contact because my eyes are so bright. Like bright, shining emeralds. My dad had piercing blue eyes and I inherited the piercing but have my mother’s green eyes.

My experience has been that if I make direct eye contact most people will look away after a minute or so. Many people have told me that my eyes are creepy. Mostly men.

That has to be only common to men, surely?

I mean, women don’t pass wind do they?

Personally, if I need to relieve gas when around others, I go to the bathroom (and don’t make any comments before or after — that is simply bad manners).

I'm 8th generation American! Asking those questions isn't cute, it's ignorant and kind of really racist. It never fails to cause me to think less of anyone who asks those questions.
I remember when people didn’t know if Michelle Wolf was white or black. Some still don’t.

We are all one race — homo sapien. We’re just different shades of color and have distinctive features based upon adaptive evolution.

Michelle Wolf is white.

I don’t think the observation is inappropriate at all. I’ve had the same experience many times over, usually a white male assuming that I would share their racist views because I’m a white male, too.

As the only white resident in my apartment building, I’ve had cable guys, repairmen and even policemen ask me how I can live in an n-word building. There is a misguided belief amongst some white males that we share a commonality of racism and other abhorrent beliefs. It is weird. It’s creepy.

I say the n-word aloud when I’m conversing with my neighbors/friends. But when a white guy uses it in a ‘joke’ (“You know I’m just joking — I’m not prejudiced at all!”) I gotta do a take-down.

Yes, racist white people — and their assumptions — are totally creepy.

I know what you mean.

I can get that feeling from a client in a $4,000 bespoke suit or a drunk in a bar. They’re everywhere in different guises. I get a sense that they mean to do harm in some manner. Hurt me, yes; harm me.

I can also sense that in women. From some I have — or had — a notion that they were only going to use me. Sometimes for money or sex.

I, too, avoid those types now. I’ve no money and my libido isn’t what it once was!

Being old and body hair is weird.

I haven’t cut my hair in a long while. It’s bright white and kind of an Einstein out-of-control. I brush it daily when I shower so that it doesn’t tangle.

However — maintaining ear hair, nose hair, head hair, eyebrows and facial hair, in general, is a task. Where did it come from? It wasn’t there twenty-years ago! I have my caregiver keep that pesky ‘out-of-control hair growth’ on the back of my neck trimmed and shaved.

I don’t have tons of body hair. I have even less now than two decades ago. One thing that weirds me out is when men have chest hair that pokes out of casual shirts. That’s just gross!

I learned how to make my own mayonnaise in my sophomore year at uni. I just can’t eat the jarred stuff. And in the UK it’s more popular to eat chips/fries with mayo which is a total gross-out.

Have you seen the exceptional movie The Big Sick? There is an exceptional comic scene about the need for toilet-time.

I bet if you watched that scene you’d get over your reaction!

People in general. I am socially anxious so I get these stings of pain and lots of negative psychic energy from people. It's beyond being weirded out, but there's that component still in there.

But this is social chat, isn't it. Not what you were looking for. My apologies.
