Some comments are made by customers jokingly that are repeated at almost every single retail business that makes me go "Has any retail employee ever laughed at this or has ever encouraged you to continue to say this at every business?"
Thanks for this!

Like when something doesn’t scan and a customer says “I guess it’s free then!”?

In the northeast, I dress like an elderly plumed snowbird playing shuffleboard in Miami. Yeah, I’ve 75-year-old friends that pimp out — I always give them crap and expect crap in return.

I hate that the cold is coming — I’ve never become accustomed to it.

Hmm. I’ve only met a handful of people that share my first name. I have a first cousin with my first and last names but with different middle and confirmation names.

I’m weirded out to find others with my last name. It’s difficult and unique and when traveling I always grabbed phone books to look to see if there were others of my tribe.

I can’t recall the last time that I used a phone book. I’m just that old.

I like prime numbers.

In my own psychoanalysis, I don’t care for even numbers (and I know why).

People that invade your personal space. The noise that happens when people's teeth scrape the fork when they are eating.

There is a house down the street I frequently pass with my dog. I can't figure out why in all this time they would not have built stairs to all three of their exterior doorways. It has got to be horrendous trying to get in and out of the home - which is not new or in a state of repair. This is really weird to me.
Thanks for this!

parasitic twins. If you never heard of them its when one twin partially formed is dependent on the completely formed twin.

Old people trying to look or act young, and thinking they're fooling everybody.

A woman becomes a mother late in life. Now she's menopausal with an elementary-school child, and her attitude is, "I'm not old! I can't be, because I have a ten-year-old! I'm trying to pretend I'm as young as all the other mothers in her class. My daughter thinks I'm only 24, and I love her for it!"

Denial, denial, denial. Why can't people just be real? What's so doggone wrong with getting older anyway? Why are people so afraid of it that they have to pretend it isn't happening?

This sounds awful of me but there is a family down the street with a particular oddness about them that is creepy. I can hear the 'banjos playing' every time they come to mind.

The spelling of "wierd" lol. It's weird. i before e except after c doesn't apply in this case.

Other things that weirds me out is Candy Crush Soda. Srsly, it's a trippy form of candy crush. Playing the soda version is like tripping on acid.

The Magic School Bus weirds me out. Could a human body actually take being shrunk, grown, transformed into something else (e.g. animals) that frequently without disintegrating? As for the school bus, when it does all those crazy things, wouldn't it have the same effect on the people inside it as being in a wormhole? How did these kids even survive?
Thanks for this!

My bad!

I agree that the concept is creepy!

(I have a rich vocabulary and I’m quite loquacious but I always am misspelling ‘weird’... just part of my total wierdness!)

As loosely as I play with punctuation, grammar and spelling here, I’m afraid that I can’t abide any mistakes from online news sources. The Washington Post, for example, will post news articles with the most egregious faux pas, ruining the experience of the meat of the news.

I expect better but I’m frequently disappointed.

As for my extraordinary boo-boos here on PC? Well, no one here expects me to be a savory dish and comply with anything of any importance, I hope!

that somewhere in the world, someone has written a book called " mr stink"

last week I actually watched the tv adaptation of it, and..... their is something not right about it.

the main character (who also plays the lord in downton abby), is discovered by a girl in the park. she takes him back to her shed in the garden (so he stinks up the shed), and then he becomes involved with the government?

what a pile of ****

(and I say that not only as a joke, but seriously)

who wants to write a book about a smelly guy in a park

clearly someone.. it's all ready written

I would say at the moment 'Trump' and the world zeitgeist. We seem to be sleepwalking into something very dark and sinister.

you know when you buy a cd or dvd and it has that plastic thing over the case which you need to take off to actually open it?

the sound it makes when you take it off (it sounds like your trouzers are ripping)

I really don't see why it's their in the first place

the fact it's in a case should be enough protection
