People who ask me to pick up their shifts. Maybe I just don’t have a life but I’ve never had a problem where I’ve had to ask someone to pick up a shift because I had to do something important. If I have something like a vacation I always know in advance and request the days off correctly. But if I just want to do something spur of the moment I plan it on one of my days off or after my shift. I have a lot of sick days so if I get sick it’s not a big deal either. I just don’t understand these same people who are asking me every week to pick up a shift for them because something important “suddenly came up” And I can’t cover for them anyways because I can only work a certain amount of hours a week and I’m always scheduled those exact hours.

Also we only work in the mornings. So it’s not like it’s an all day work shift.

Traffic police drivers belting up the motorway doing in excess of 100mph. This should not be allowed.

I was at Wendy’s today during lunch and there was a group of mentally challenged kids from a local group. One of the kids would scream and then stop. This wasn’t regular screaming but full on shrieking. The Wendy’s employee almost looked scared. The customers looked annoyed and were staring. The caretakers of this kid were doing nothing to help the situation. They were just letting it continue. My anxiety was through the roof and I got my food and got out as soon as possible. The little boy who ordered after us who was with his dad was making fun of the kid in the parking lot. I don’t blame him. That little boy was probably scared and didn’t know how to handle the situation.

I get that they are trying to normalize the kid or whatever. But doing it at lunch time is just very disruptive to everyone.

I went to the self-car wash this morning. I pulled in after a massive diesel pick-up truck that I swear must have been off-road all season as the driver left behind 3-6in thick mud all over the bay. Of course I had to step all over it and was livid. Of course I don't wear my Sunday best to wand wash my car; I do after all expect to get a little wet. But I got home to discover I had thick mud up to my knees which of course I checked and found all over the foot well of my car. Yuck. Irked. Ticked.

UK Government surveillance. It's everywhere. Especially throughout London and our motorways.

people putting their sticky fingers everywhere

example: someone just made marmite on toast and their fingers are covered in marmite, in sted of washing it off their fingers, they put them on the desk, the kitchen appliances, other people, you name it

people that use disability to try and get treated better than everyone else.

everyone's equal, no one should be treated extra special because they have a disability

I understand that if you need a wheelchair, you need a wheelchair

if you need to priority board a plain, then you should have that

what gets to me is when people go..... well, I have a disability, I'm better than everyone else and I should have more advantages

People that speak loudly. It's a problem where I live, because it's cultural.

Inconsistent behavior. People that talk a game and don't walk it. People that pretend they're listening and they're not.

Loud noises and shamelessness from neighbors. People that pretend they care, when their actions show the contrary.

Sitting at a restaurant, waiting to give my order and nobody comes but other people that came afterwards being attended.

Being clearly judged for my looks.

People that come to a planning meeting and decide to derail it by making jokes and talking off topic. Our day program had a garden planning meeting this morning and one guy acted like a two year old cold not stay focused on the topic. So the meeting went late all because of him distracting us.

I had another crappy horrible day. This morning at work I had put my gloves on my usual work station and then left to do something else and another coworker just came and started working in my spot. She glanced at my stuff so she knew I was working there. Then right before I left for the day she did something else to me, and my other two coworkers were all like “wtf.” Because it was totally out of line. One of my coworkers did make a comment but the coworker seemed oblivious.

This afternoon I set up an appointment with my Pdoc. Maybe he can tweak my Lamictal. I can’t change anyone’s behavior at work but I can change how I react to situations. I feel kind of bad because I said “I’m really pissed off” and I think the manager heard. But people have said worse TO the manager. But I think my doctor can help me so I don’t get so angry. Even though my coworkers are saying I have the right to get upset at the things that are happening.

I went to chili’s again for lunch. The same one. We had the same waitress as last time. She gave us crap about the two orders of chips and salsa AGAIN. This time my mom was all like “we want two, because we want two.” Then she gave me grief because I ordered my steak rare. It’s like, yes I know it can be dangerous to eat a steak rare but I can read the disclaimer on the bottom of the menu just fine. She’s was just very aggravating again.

What irks me iis that antibiotics will have ceased beiung any use in 60 year's time. Okay, most of us will have passed by then, but I fear for our next generations.
