People who refuse to work on themselves even though they have problems and are causing problems for others. People who think seeing a therapist is "Weak."
Thanks for this!

People who refuse to evacuate during a hurricane and then call and say they need to be rescued.

And then use it against you during an argument. "I think you need to call your therapist. Did you take your medicine today?"

when they show the comercials for animal/ child abuse, and they have to show the worst possible cases on the screen.

maybe I'm missing something, but if you see a commercial that starts out " every day children in Africa need to walk 3 miles to collect dirty water from a river", it would grab most people and they will donate the money

you don't then need to see the sad sceens- rather see that, show what the money has done and encourage people

" this is mary, she didn't go to school and she lived on the streets. thanks to your help, she now has a real chance at life"
Thanks for this!

Parents who allow their children to hang off grocery carts.

We had a girl injured in the store last night because while she was hanging on the the side of the cart flung her head backwards into the path of another moving cart. Bang she was clocked in the side of the head - and the parent had the inclination to blame the operator of the other cart! 100% the parents' fault. That child shouldn't have been hanging off the cart in the first place and the parent should have been properly supervising her. Look, if a child is old enough to cling to a grocery cart in the first place they are capable enough to walk properly through the store. I see no argument otherwise. Pure laziness. The parent ought to have the balls enough to say 'no' to their child.

An in store medic sought to her needs. The store management tried to call an ambulance but her mother refused any further attention. At the very least I would guess the child had a concussion. Defying any imagination I had left, the mother continued to shop. Utter disbelief.

When people say you should use more "I-messages" because "you-messages" are too judgmental.

Then when you use more "I-messages," they point out how many times you're saying the word "I" and call you self-centered.

people with small speakers that sound like hospital ward equipment

I seem to have it in my head that everyone (outside of a hospital), has big, good quality speakers

not so..

I occasionally get asked to pack groceries and merchandise at the major wholesaler company I work for. It really irks me when people put their bread, pies, chips, etc on the conveyor belt first. Unless you want these things squished, put them on last. Often I am left with no room to stack these things aside waiting for other groceries to come down the line. For god's sake, put some thought into it, eh? Put on the belt your large things first and try, for the love of Pete, to group like things together. Arrrrgh! Also, why would you ask for a box when you have a car seat or children in the cart? Just where am I supposed to put it? Gawd!

This is probably a repeat but I am sick and tired of people parking across our driveway. How does one not get that it is there? The only thing I can imagine is they assume half our front lawn is landscaped with gravel. Honestly, this ticks me off so very much.

It's a silly irk, but it kind of grates on me when people refer to living with their parents as "living at home." Or when they return to living at Mom and Dad's house, and they say they "moved back home."

Isn't "home," by definition, anywhere you live? I don't live with my parents, but I do live at home, because my husband and I own this place, and that makes it my home. My mother's house is not my home. It's hers. This is mine.

When people say they did a "complete 360-degree turnaround."

Familiar at all with graphics software? Rotate an object 360 degrees, and see which way it points. That's right... the same direction it was pointing to begin with.

If someone wants to say they did a total reversal of direction, they mean 180 degrees.

People who make a big deal when someone sneezes. Like saying “oh my goodness!” In a really enthusiastic voice and just being loud and making a big deal about it. Just say bless you and move on.

I'm kind of a big talker. It doesn't really register in my head when I'm rambling, but I love conversation and enjoy listening to people talk for awhile. Communication is very important to me.

So when I talk for awhile and I don't get much of a reaction, it's somewhat discouraging. Like I could write a paragraph to someone and they'd respond with "lol" and I'd just end the interaction there. Similar with real life conversation. It just sorta cuts the flow of the whole thing and I get the impression that they don't really care about what I'm saying. So I just kinda stop everything, in case I'm bothering them.
Thanks for this!

My manager seems to think it’s a problem that I wear Vans when I don’t skateboard. People are weird.

I'm the same way. If somebody doesn't respond to what I said, I get the idea I shouldn't have said it, and it just wasn't worth responding to.
