Huge birthday parties for 1 year olds. I don’t get it. I get inviting just the grandparents. But I went to one where there were aunts, and uncles, and cousins, and tons of friends. It just kind of seems like you’re asking for a handout. These people had money too.

I have seen these in the $25 (CA) range but at COSTCO we sell these for $13.50 (CA). They are literally life-savers. When I have to walk, I never leave the house without them. I too highly recommend them.

Also I too hate having to use them in the first place. What I really hate is when people don't clear the snow and ice off their sidewalks.

The lack of salt on the icy roads and public sidewalks. We have had on going freezing rain, ran snow mixed for the past week and the roads are very icy and walking is impossible.

Hmmm, doesn't sound right. Regarding the public walks are businesses there not required by law to clear the ice and snow?

As for salt - it doesn't work very well and destroys and rusts out cars. Most locales use sand (some even use beet juice). Why is your community not taking measures? Definitely bring this up with your city council representative,

Thanks, the news has already made it known how bad the roads a sidewalks are here. They are trying to cut back on costs.
Thanks for this!

In the winter I also don't leave the house without them. I find them easy to stick in my purse.

It was explained to me that too much salt is an environmental hazard so there is an incentive to not go crazy with it. Either way I am not taking a chance to a slippery patch.

people who can't seem to follow their own advice.

they'll be quick to say something like- always remember good table manners, or always remember to be organized, to look good, to smile, yet that person who is trying to give that advice to others is a complete mess. burps at the dinner table, can't remember where they put their phone and is extremely grumpy. not a good example...

I find it a little irksome when people confuse psychiatrists, psychologists, and therapists. All three different things.

snow is on the ground including the sidewalks where people haven't bothered to shovel (irk 1). People, mostly pick-up drivers (irk 2) park their vehicles right up on the sidewalk (irk 3). C'mon folks, it is pretty obvious where the street ends and the sidewalk begins. How can you not tell - snow or no snow - where the front lawn begins and allow for three feet for the sidewalk. I am as a result forced to walk with my dog out into the street. My get back, haha? My dog absolutely loves to pee on big trucks.

Cheryl, according to the Canada Post tracker my package has been bouncing back and forth across the country from Richmond, BC to Ottawa, ON and back for weeks.

My ginger cat has discovered the garage. So we have to be very careful to close the door to the gargage behind us when we are getting sodas or something out of the fridge. He has accidentally been let out several times and we have found him just sitting under the car. We have my sister and brother in law and my 2 young nephews at my house right now. When we pulled into the garage after work the door was open a crack. It really irked me. Luckily he didn’t get out of the house. He probably was in the garage but got spooked when he heard the door open and ran back inside.

I just wish people would pay more attention. It’s not that hard to keep a door shut. I’d be devastated if I lost this cat.

It irks me when people purposely try to use another card to enter the store than their membership one. They wish to make me make a mistake and look like an idiot. Jerks.

People who complain on Facebook about not having any family support or having any friends and being alone for the holidays and just being really grumbly and mean about it. These two people I know have been *****ing constantly since a week before Thanksgiving. They have been posting obnoxious memes, saying how they wish it was next year already, and just bluntly saying they hate the holidays. They know each other and are feeding off each other.

Grinches just irk me.

People who, when something annoys me and I speak up about it, tell me I should be happy about it instead. Because I'm too stupid to know how to feel.

One of the most common examples is when people over-help me. I do have disabilities, but I'm not helpless, and I don't need to be treated like a toddler. Say one word about no, really, I can do this myself, thank you, and all I get is how I should be glad people care about me.

Usually this comes from people who, for whatever reason, feel like they're all alone in the world and nobody would help them if they asked for it. I'm sorry they feel that way, but one thing has nothing to do with the other.

Some people can never be happy no matter what I do and how I do it. They always try to look at what is not going well in my life and offer unsolicited advice. It's getting to the point where my circle of friends are getting smaller. It's ok because i do not want to be around people that are very negative in my life. At one point in my life they where helpful. Im at a different place on my recovery and im proud of it, even though it is baby steps
