Ha, does anyone remember back in the '90's when signatures were termed "siggies"?
Anyway. It would be difficult to PM each person and post this, so I'm making a general post about it. I love the signatures on this forum! I enjoy them, learn from them, and find them so interesting. Thanks for your sigs. ![]() |

Mine are typically song lyrics that speak to me in the moment.

I was a kid in the 90s so I don't remember them being called siggies.
My signature is song lyrics from songs I like. |

I turned them off for a while- but then turned them back on as it didn't feel right without seeing them. I agree some of them are really good and have let me know about songs etc I didn't know existed |

Most millenials dont know how to write their own signature. I learned how to write mine in the third grade but over the years Ive decided to mimic primarily my dad's signature and a little bit of my mom's. My dad has very poor handwriting so in elementary school I forged my dad's signature allllllll the time. The one time I got "caught" it was genuinely my dad's signature! I remember it very clearly and still laugh about it to this day. My teacher accused me of forging it so he called my dad and my dad said "yes, I signed that, it wasnt LL!" and my teacher gave me the dirtiest look hahahaha!

It is about forum signatures. But I love penmanship discussions, too, as I've done hand-lettering art work for most of my life.
I remember when what were those things called...the wiggly glitter letters and pictures were popular...oh, and the "timelines". For example, if someone was going on a vacation in 6 weeks they would put a timeline in their sig and each day the timeline would move toward the "big day". Once on a forum of long ago a member made a beautiful signature for me. It was when regular people were just starting to use computer art. I saved the signature somewhere...probably MySpace, and it's long gone. |

I remember that, good old myspace. I LOVED changing out the special features and the music.
And I do remember the tickers, I used them a lot, too. |

I dunno, I just thought this picture was pretty and wanted something in the signature so I tossed it in there. Normally I would put words in a signature too, but I can't think of any worth putting there.

Tickers! Yes - that's what they were called. Yeah, I used tickers, too. I miss myspace. There was a focus on art and music that just isn't there with Facebook. |
