Does anyone have a sleep number bed? I’m thinking of getting one. I think it might help me sleep better. I know they can be expensive but I found out that they make them in twin sizes. If I get the basic model should it be around $600?

I have always wanted one. I've spoken with 2 people, though, who invested a lot of money into a sleep number bed and regret having done so. Both told me that the beds are not good. Just as well, because I will never be able to afford one.

I own one....a queen size. Have used it about the last 9 years. It is uncomfortable unless you get a foam topper for it which you can get with the bed OR you can just buy them separately & throw it under the matress pad.

Mine is old BUT it has a 20 year warrantee. The old style controller wore out quickly (wouldn't display the #'s.....& I have to test but I think the air hose to one side is bad but have to do debugging & find out exactly where the problem is. They will replace whatever is not working no charge.

I fractured my back several years ago & I like it at the highest # but NOT without the foam to give some softness over the hard.

I sleep well on it & I sleep on the side that stayels inflated

It looks like I’ll be going with a sleep number bed. I looked at temperpedics and they are anywhere from $1,500-$3,000. The specific sleep number bed I want is $600. Which is about 3 work checks. So I’ll technically have the money in 3 weeks. There’s a sleep number bed in the mall by me. I think I’ll stop there after Bath and Body Works And check it out.

I got mine in 2005. It’s a queen size. I love it. Totally saved my back. It take a while to find the right sleep number and sometimes your sleep number changes. You should also occasionally fully inflate it and reset back to your number.

I actually bought one today. I wasn’t planning on it but then I found out I could finance it and pay $40 a month. I’m excited about it.
